Check out the new SPB069

https://timelessluxwatches.com/wp-content/uploads/2017/12/SPB069BluePresage-1.jpg This is the 40.5mm new SPB069 LE. It's got an awesome blue enamel dial and it's powered by a 6R15. I really love how these new Presages in general look, very Laurel-y. You can click the photo to visit our page on it o...

Re: New GS Hi-Beat

Lol it's not my favorite GS, but I do still love it. I'd like it more with Breguet numerals.

Hope I see some of you there tonight. I'll try and get the quartz diver info out of them.

Re: New GS Hi-Beat

The size is good for me, 39.5mm. I would also have preferred it without a date though. And hand-wound (but still Hi-Beat, a nonexistent movement) if I'm really going for broke.

Re: New Timeless + Nomos LE

Yeah, Watchbuys seems to have the market cornered with some of its brands. We do like Sinn a lot, but I think we're moving away from German tool watches for the moment and into other areas of German watchmaking. We'll be adding some very interesting brands over the next six months.

Re: New Timeless + Nomos LE

I don't mind thin lugs, but a lot of Nomos lugs are longer than they need to be, at least for my wrist. But I just correct it by getting smaller Nomoses in general.

Re: New Timeless + Nomos LE

I think you're probably the best brand rep I've ever seen on the forums, and I've been on them a long time. You do a really good job. Thanks! I love it, and 40 really is a limited edition. Usually limited means 300 or 1000. Yeah, I always enjoy it when I see limited editions of like 3,000. I guess ...

Re: New Timeless + Nomos LE

Lol you guys sure are a lot kinder than the ABTW comments. I don't think we've ever made a watch that the ABTW comment section was overall favorable towards. The collective IQ of that place is 45, and there are at least 90 people over there. They're probably to broke to buy one anyways. Lol well, I...

Re: New Timeless + Nomos LE

That back view kills it. How large is this? Nomos needs some bigger low end movements. It's a 38mm. Yeah, these are small movements, but they're nice and thin too. Nomos does make some movements that really fill up a case back, but those are in their Lambda and Lux models. Gorgeous though, got to t...

Brett, the link leads right back to this post.
Either a mistake or truly well played.
Thanks for pointing that out, what a weird bug. It should be fixed now though.

What do you think about the Nomos?

Re: why won't anybody touch Girard Perregaux?

It gets really weird when you see how they had to design the module for that movement. I wish I had some photos of it, but as I recall they would basically make windows in the module itself because the date was on the original/integrated movement, then the module fit over that and covered up the da...

Re: why won't anybody touch Girard Perregaux?

I agree...the thing is, they don't HAVE to be compared to those brands, except that they price themselves into a corner where comparisons with them is inevitable. BacoNoir's account of the Traveller (yes, two Ls), which was one of my favorite GPs, is yet another good example of the weirdness you enc...

Re: Grand Seiko Roadshow December 6th!

Not yet unfortunately. I'll mention it to them at the event, but I think the earliest we'll hear about it is in March. I wouldn't be at all surprised to see at least replacement models for the old diver quartz for 2018. They were quite popular, not sure why they'd kill them.

Re: why won't anybody touch Girard Perregaux?

The Sea Hawks are still cool, but everyone has upped their game so much. I suspect even Omega is starting to feel the pressure from Tudor's Black Bay and Pelagos.

Re: why won't anybody touch Girard Perregaux?

Oh yeah, happy to share. I do think the Laureato has that potential. It certainly comes from that era and style that most of the other high-end classics from. It's also backed up by a good, thin movement. In my humble opinion, if they could just stomach a major price adjustment on that one piece, an...

Will they have the SBGJ227 on hand? And can I pick mine up at the same time?
I can't say for sure, but they do often bring prototypes or recently released pieces, so it's entirely possible.

Some Black Friday deals and stuff

Today we're throwing in an extra 2 years to the warranty on new watches (i.e. if you bought a new watch with a 3 year warranty, now it's five years). We're also giving away an Everest strap with any new Black Bay through the end of December. I really pushed Dan to give away Gaga albums with every Bl...
