Re: Black Bay GMT, 58, S&G & Tudor 1926 First Impressions

58 on bracelet for me, absolutely love it. I would change the crown (as mentioned) to just screw all the way, but its not an issue for me. That size, from brand with a lot of history and with an inhouse movement with a great power reserve... it's a steal. I bet they do a blue dial in the next year ...

Faux rivets kill these for me.
That's why I'd get it on the fabric strap. More affordable as well.

We do sometimes but we haven't tried at a third party location before. I think we could get it set up if there was enough interest.

Re: Black Bay GMT, 58, S&G & Tudor 1926 First Impressions

That seems to be true, and the '58, not coincidentally, is named after the year of the first Big Crown model, so perhaps that's intentional.

Re: Black Bay GMT, 58, S&G & Tudor 1926 First Impressions

My buddy John and I are attending the local Rolex / Tudor preview on Wednesday, so I’ll check this sucker out. I really don’t understand the crown design, other than that they wanted to be different. The “guts” of the crown are basically like the other Rolex stuff. It comes from the historic 7924 "...

Re: Black Bay GMT, 58, S&G & Tudor 1926 First Impressions

Took me half the article to figure out what you were talking about when you said S&G, then I realized you meant steel and gold. Never seen it abbreviated that way; usually it's TT. The GMT and 58 are very nice. But the BB crowns still kill me. Notwithstanding the potential corrosion issues, they ne...

Re: Black Bay GMT, 58, S&G & Tudor 1926 First Impressions

I clearly don’t dress well enough to be a watch guy in Texas. It appears the BB58 still has the goofy crown sleeve thingy, but it’s silver in color as on the Ranger - can you confirm? Yes, it still has a small amount of exposed crown tube, and in this case it appears to be polished steel. Both the ...

It is, it's just a Photoshop blunder.

Photoshopped???? Noooooooo!!!!
Lol yeah, annoyingly at this stage in development we rely on renders. We'll get photos of the prototypes as soon as possible, of course.

Re: Timeless Sixty-Five Limited Edition

I think this is the perfect configuration of this watch. Compared to the regular versions the pluses are: - 40mm size with the best looking marker configuration - no date It’s a LE so obviously it’s not a vanilla black dial/black bezel which would probably be the best everyday configuration. As I m...

Re: Timeless Sixty-Five Limited Edition

Thanks guys, you're too kind. Aside from size, what would you have done differently? Different color, more or less bronze, etc. I think the two tone bezel sucks. Would you rather it be full bronze or full steel? Full steel. It's a nice watch as-is, but the bezel was jarring to me. It's still better...

Thanks! Unfortunately, for logistics reasons we can't select serial numbers on this LE, but you'll probably get a low number at least since you pre-ordered today.

The reason why it's not thicker is because the three hand version is way too unnecessarily thick, for no reason.
That is ostensibly correct. More specifically, the dial is unnecessarily deep in the 3-hander and they moved it up for the thicker movement.

Tudor Black Bay Chrono Review

https://timelessluxwatches.com/wp-content/uploads/2018/05/New-Main-4.jpg The Black Bay Chrono is likely one of the most controversial and oft-discussed Tudors in the modern history of the brand. Re: Timeless Chronomaster/Zenith A273 Comparison Review

I like them both although I am not crazy about the Timeless bracelet with the PCLs... Officially, the watch comes on a leather strap, but both of these were personal watches that were handed to me on bracelet, and I figured I'd keep it on since it gave a different look and it was a better match for...

Timeless Chronomaster/Zenith A273 Comparison Review

Interestingly, at the time we designed the Timeless Chronomaster, I had never even seen...
