Re: New Tudor Sub?

I have the feeling that whatever this is, is going to be a) very cool and b) something I need to own. We'll see if my BB58 quest gets superseded by the latest and greatest.

Yeah, must of my Filsons are tan, but I went with otter green for my daily carry. Still like tan the best, though.

These. If I'm being honest, all I really want to wear are Speedmasters these days. https://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/20190119/6f6bd34fc0da5a7e7d6a17715646838c.jpg https://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/20190119/f0d6467a68402fec92605afe2201dd16.jpg Amazing Speedy trio. Filson. Been using one or another for years and they are indestructible. I now own about 7 of them. I do like Topo as well, and own a klettersack.

Re: Thinking about a new device

I think most Macbook users would agree that even if they're not always worth the price (although I paid around ~$1200 for my current MBP and I think it has been worth every penny), the UI, ease of use, and general refinement of these things makes them a great buy.

Re: Omega Calibre 321 is back in production

Well, looks like it's not going in a 50th anniversary LE, which I would've bet money was going to be a 105.012 reissue... Maybe they'll reissue a 105.003 Ed White with this movement. Interesting.

I see a 105.012 reissue for the 50th anniversary. I suspect it will be incredible.

Also, the OCIII is a special watch, but dang if the 58 doesn't more than hold its own there, as you said.

Looks good, without too much gap between the case and strap, which I worry about with the Black Bays.

Outstanding. I should've pulled the trigger on a DSSD when I was looking for one...7 or 8 years and about $5K less ago.

White dialed ceramic bezel Daytona at something close to list price :scream: :scream: Good luck! You, me, and many, many others. Either that or the 126660 with blue dial and I’m ready to go. Alas, Rolex doesn’t want to sell me a watch. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk Well, grail achieved today! ...

BB58. Honestly think that could be my one watch. But I'm obsessed with gilt dial, big crown Submariners.

Great pickup. Ran into a guy today who had on a 16710 with a nice faded coke bezel on a very faded, almost powder blue NATO, and not surprisingly I was trying to figure out how I could acquire one myself.

Re: 2018 ins & outs

From what I recall: Picked up a Speedmaster Ultraman. Incredible piece. This one's a keeper. Seiko SBDC051. Really nice piece for the money. Just too much of a tweener for me. Essentially too nice to beat up like I do most Seiko divers, and wasn't getting the call for my wrist otherwise. Which is wh...
