The SPB051 I picked up a few weeks has me content. I'd be lying if I said I wasn't thinking about the SLA017 or the upcoming SLA025. But I'm trying to keep my eye on the (Explorer) prize.

I was very happy with just my 16600. Then I started with the forums. I actually don't regret any of it. I've had a lot of fun, and met some great people on this journey. My wife would disagree with me, though.
I'm getting the hankering to sell a couple of things and pick up a 214270 Mark II Explorer. I'm sort of gravitating back to Rolex, but I'm very conscientious about wearing a watch that screams "Rolex!!" in my line of work (my ceramic Sub was definitely noticed and commented on a bit too frequently f...
It's hard to argue that this watch is a nice move for Rolex. Sized up but still wearable, and that red line is amazing. But for me, a Sea-Dweller should never have a cyclops. This is going to look fantastic if/when you fix that minor "issue."
Walk on in. I thought they were incredibly nice when I was there a few years ago. Let me try on a bunch of watches, and the manager shot the breeze with us for a few as well.
