Re: Seaforth GMT tomorrow

I don’t have a problem with the business model. They are going to sell no matter what, so I can’t blame Jason for just making them first come, first serve. Some people will be happy, some people will be pissed. It is what it it is and more power to him for making such a desirable product.

Love those chamfers. Congrats. I need to try one eventually, the regular slabby BB just doesn't work for me.

I hated NATOs (for myself) for years until I tried them on my E1. Now it's the only thing I wear it on.

Re: Day and date change in mechanical watches. What is acceptable?

I like all of mine to change anywhere from 10 minutes before 12 o'clock or after 12 o'clock within 10 minutes. Is it really relevant? Not really just my personal preference So, 10min prior is still acceptable? The example I posted with the person that owns a PAM has his date to change at 23:35. I w...

Re: WRUW 04 Aug 18

If your not averse to taking the bracelet off, try it on a NATO (especially a shiznit). I’ve had mine for just about 8 months and I think it really shines on nylon. I had a hard time believing anything would ever unseat my Sub as the “perfect” watch for me, but I honestly now have a hard time choos...

Re: 16610LV NOS on davidSW, are people on drugs?

Stuff like this makes me want to get money out from savings and buy that damn 14060m that I want now, or I might find myself just not getting one ever. Honestly, it’s not a bad idea if it’s feasible and you really want one. The prices are never going down again IMO. If you ever need to flip it very...

Been thinking of finally trying a Pelagos

I’m in the camp of actually liking the blue. As said, it’s much better in person IMO and I’ve thought about getting one many times. However, I think if I had your collection I’d go for the classic black. It’s just so much more versatile.
