If anyone hasn’t seen the doc on Netflix (I think), I highly recommend. Sad story about maybe the best ever (sorry Max/Lewis).

Is West Coast Time still in business? They had the 1:1 “homage” a while back using the same case.

Not sure of a Resco Patriot is considered similar enough (it was originally based on the Arctic Diver), but that’s my vote. You can likely get a brushed case if you ask them.

I’m in central jersey. Sadly, the first thing I thought was to look outside for the smoke from whatever bomb went off, then realized it was an earthquake. Shook the whole house. Very unsettling.

The cheap blue demagnetizers have worked for me as well, once on a Benrus and again on a Seiko. Worth the $20 if you ever need it.

I like the design, though when I think of Guinand I automatically think of “pilot watch”. Hard to wrap my head around a dive watch from them. Poor analogy, but kinda like Jeep coming out with a sports car. Cool to see them diversifying, though.

Not gonna lie. I really enjoyed this movie. Can’t take it seriously, which it’s not meant to be, but for what it is it’s hilarious IMO.
