real-world experience of MM

I’ve owned two of the 017’s and not much to add to what has already been said. They wear very well for their size, but yes they are extremely tall (to me). Classic look and the case is a work of art. Timekeeping was adequate on both of mine, around +7-10 seconds/day of I recall correctly. They rock ...

Re: Lockdown Survival - what are you doing?

Nope, but I’ve been looking for a 9mm or .45 SBR (is that the correct name for these guns?) for a while. All recommendations are welcome. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk Pro Pretty sure that’s a brace attached and not a stock, so it should be considered a pistol. Could be totally wrong, though.

My son has it. Results just came this morning. He’ll be fine I’m sure.
Very sorry to hear that, Ed. Yes, I am sure he will be fine however.

Re: Kenny Rogers knew when to fold'em...

In my younger days, I waited on him at a restaurant I used to work at (right across the street from a well known local music venue). He and his entourage were very nice people and they tipped well.

RIP.

Re: Lockdown Survival - what are you doing?

Well, NJ got the lockdown order. We knew it was coming and are well prepared. My elderly family is the main concern, brought them a bunch of stuff today. That, plus our state NICS (which is separate from the national system) is running about 4 days behind at this point and who knows if they’ll shut ...

Yep. This shouldn’t be about what “side” you are on. It’s back to basics and caring for ones own, neighbors, and community. Bickering (not specifically here, but generally) solves absolutely nothing.

Stay safe.

My town supermarket is open only to those over 60yo from the hours 6am - 7:30am to allow them to shop in a freshly sanitized and restocked store. Honor system, not checking ID's. Same store is donating 2000 plastic bags (which are actually pretty hard to come by around here right now) that will be u...

Re: Global slow down...

I checked in with my FFL about an order I managed to get in over the weekend before the panic buying really started to set in (just something I had my eye on for a while and figured why not, not a necessity) and he's been waiting on lots of things from his distributor. He forwarded me the email from...

Global slow down...

I’m on my town’s CERT and we had a meeting with the mayor, town council, and county OEM coordinators this morning. It’s been said, but it’s going to get worse before it gets better. Biggest issue, at least around here, is that the panic is taking on a life of its own. People should be concerned, but...

Of the two recent I have, one runs +5/day (very good!) and the other completely died three days after I got it new and is currently with Seiko USA (very bad!).
These are both recent 6r35's?
6R15’s made within the last 8 months. I don’t have any experience with the 6R35’s.

I love a Matte (Wu) dial  https://i.ibb.co/mhMKj9H/616667-BC-9-EB9-4-DAD-9532-00-E0-A537-AE95.jpg Awesome! Congrats! Sweet. Thank you - I had the white ones awhile back (both 40 & 42) and always wanted to try the black :salute: Can’t go wrong with the Wu-value. Great pick up.
