Re: A Close Look at 4 Rare Grand Seikos

I really want to like that spiral dial but it just feels too me too Omega 007 Edition. I really like Seiko but it starting to feel like GS models are getting washed down and convoluted. In fairness to GS, it was a limited edition for Nakaishu, so I'm not even sure if they designed it. But I do thin...

Re: Longines Heritage Skin Diver Review

I think Longines has been one of the more interesting watch companies the last few years, especially if you like vintage-inspired watches. One could put together a pretty nice collection at a reasonable price just from the Longines Heritage collection alone. https://timeandtidewatches.com/wp-conten...

I like it but the hands really needed to be longer and thicker.
They look pretty consistent with those of the original.
I agree. The original's hands were too short as well. This one is a little more jarring because the case is larger.

According to the article, the bezel is making a reference to this important iconic design from their history. https://i.ebayimg.com/images/g/PpoAAOSwB3BZ6hCP/s-l300.jpg oh boy. definitely a historic model that's worthy of a modern tribute ;) Now that's a Wal-Mart watch! Re: Wruw april 18th

Looked at it some more. It looks off by a tiny tiny bit. Not as bad as in the picture, but it is off. Or maybe I'm just seeing things. Anyways, in case I became OCD, how do I fix that? Just bring to Rolex I guess? it's a snap on fit. a case knife would do it, I bet. Rolex probably has a fancy tool ...

Re: Hodinkee Interview with Bonati - on 21 years leading OP

Lucky dude. I’m not sure how much he did to ride the PAM wave. Smart to get out before he ruins his rep trying to sell watches that nobody wants. Should have looked closer to Rolex model. Ruined the brand trying to appeal to everyone's "tastes" instead of shaping people's tastes to the model line. ...

Just skip the "0" altogether. Really, everything nice about the Anonimo is nice about that PAM. I'm sure Anonimo is one of the few brand with worse value retention as well.

Re: When all else fails, raise the price

This guy has been trying to sell this for over a year: http://www.sdwatches.com/product/nos-rolex-16520-daytona-zenith-white-dial-box-paper-complete/ He has raised the price around $20,000 over that time. Some people don't understand the time value of money. On edit: These posts are taking so long t...

At least iwc has come to terms with the fact that their designs peaked in 1995.
Yep, that hour and minute hands are sexy
For a while I was looking for just about any watch with those hands
