Re: Trade Proposal - Yay or Nay

Do you want a dainty sports watch that shows every single scratch? From a value perspective, APRO is strong now and DSSD is much less inflated.

Re: New JLC Polaris LE with blue dial

Lug width is an awkward 21mm. I hate that. Any one of 19, 21, or 23mm make it such a huge pain in the ass if you need a short strap. OEM straps generally suck ass (or aren’t the aesthetic I’m going for), so most of the time I’ll go aftermarket anyway. I agree, but the aftermarket options for small ...

That's pretty and I'm sure it's nice. Does JLC still sell all their watches on bracelets? They used to be one of the only brands that sold "dress watches" with a bracelet.

In terms of thinness?
Indeed. Every GS I like is a little thicker than I'd like. If they could get the autos down to current quartz thickness that would be nice.

I just read the article. There's an honesty to his collection. I'm sure it's worth $$$ but every one of the watches pictured looked nice but far from perfect. His 1016 looks like one I'd buy if I decided to hunt one down. You can tell that dealers aren't passing him "perfect" frankenwatches like som...

So do these attachments connect to the clasp or the lugs of the watch. I’m having a blonde moment looking at this trying to figure out WTF is going on. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk It looks like the attachments allow you to take the case end of the strap off without undoing a spring bar. The ...

Who said you can’t get parts? They have no been produced in over 30-40 years. Do you know of a source for parts? The only one I found was ebay. That is not a reliable source. :banghead: Well If you want to fix a movement yourself then I guess parts might be hard to come by. But like any old watch, ...
