Boring. It's a DLC BB chronograph. Big whoop.

Re: The Boys On Amazon Prime

Bumping this one because I just finished it as well. I thought it was great. I was a little disappointed in the level of violence - I think some of you guys oversold it. The Homelander character was possibly my favorite among all the shows that I've watched in the recent past. Have you watched Bans...

Yeah, $60K for a Toyota is a non-starter for me.
How about $60k for a BMW?
The Supra is testing a lot faster as well. Too bad it looks like the penis car from the ambiguously gay duo in SNL.

Re: Tudor Military Subs - Sounds like lots of fakes out there

When I bought all these I got them when the time was right. Before the jump in price. A lot of members got a few when they were cheap and cheaper than the remakes but flipped them I am not a flipper think I paid 1800 for that Heuer Bund cheaper than that nice Sinn that just came out. I buy less the...

Re: Rolex: Over polished lugs?

So uhhhh... genuinely curious here. What's the problem with polishing? Are you not supposed to polish a Rolex if it gets scratched? Does a polish make it less valuable? Rolex's don't scratch, they "Patina" and anything you do to remove the magical factory metal from the watch will make you forever ...

Re: Tudor Military Subs - Sounds like lots of fakes out there

The honest watches are all long gone and when they're getting traded it happens behind the scenes. There is SO MUCH money in the vintage Rolex game, that dudes aren't selling legit no stories watches through these dealers, and the dealers aren't hunting down new good watches in 2019. If you were pay...

Re: Rolex: Over polished lugs?

I am sure Jacob will pop in and tell you how much they are off, down to the micron. I'm busy. Classes start tomorrow. That doesn't look "over" polished to me. It does look really poorly polished . The pics are shit though. If my eyes are to be believed, most/all of the nice sunburst on the bezel ha...

I can’t tell if it’s the photos, or what, but that case doesn’t look as nicely finished as I’d expect. The simple case doesn’t do it for me, though the size is primo.

I just watched the first 1.5 episodes. I've liked it a lot so far. I've been disappointed with Prime original content lately, but this seems to be as good as anything put out by Netflix or HBO.

This is effectively the watch equivalent of a car brand making a concept car and then selling it in small numbers. It doesn't need to make sense. It just needs to be.

Seems about $1k heavy. Sounds about right. Also, As a 5 1/2 year owner of an AP RO, don’t pay any attention to the comments about the RO be fragile or scratch magnets - they are no more or less than a Rolex IMHO. If they’re so robust, why did you knock off the factory edges getting it polished befo...

Do you want a dainty sports watch that shows every single scratch? From a value perspective, APRO is strong now and DSSD is much less inflated.

Re: New JLC Polaris LE with blue dial

Lug width is an awkward 21mm. I hate that. Any one of 19, 21, or 23mm make it such a huge pain in the ass if you need a short strap. OEM straps generally suck ass (or aren’t the aesthetic I’m going for), so most of the time I’ll go aftermarket anyway. I agree, but the aftermarket options for small ...

That's pretty and I'm sure it's nice. Does JLC still sell all their watches on bracelets? They used to be one of the only brands that sold "dress watches" with a bracelet.
