Nice. I still prefer the jizz machine.
I don't know what that is. Should I Google it?
I wouldn’t.

I didn’t realize he could do a bit of custom work on Steinhart. Good to know.

Re: Seiko 6309-7049 bezel ratchet ring

Sounds like you’re thinking of an SKX bezel design. I’ll ask the guys here to correct me, it’s been a while since I played with a 6309. If memory serves, there’s no ratchet ring. The world’s smallest and easily loseable ball bearing sits in a little hole in the case on top of a tiny escape artist of...

Re: iPhone to Android?

My 7+ is 3 years old and works perfectly. I may replace it when the 12 comes out, but I really don’t need to unless the 7 breaks. My wife has the XR and loves it. I wish there was a fingerprint scanner instead of just facial recognition, but I’m sure I’d get used to that in time. This probably puts...

My 6309 is considered vintage
This concerns me as I bought it new
If guys here start saying “I bought one of them new for 35 bucks”, it’s vintage.

Re: iPhone to Android?

Thanks for everyones input so far. Some things raised here have made me think. The fact that both my iPhones kept up to the latest updates was a plus for me and I thought android being limited was a thing of the past. I’ve lived with this for this long I could probably wait till the 12 and maybe ge...

Hey Elmero! Glad to see that you've stick around. To start on the Bohen watches, I'm not a big fan of micros... I've had several, but after a while I started reading about micro brands that disappeared and the owners of the watches were not able to have their watches serviced by anyone (mostly beca...

Re: More WUS Shenanigans...

Around noon I sold a watch. After receiving the funds, I PM'd the guy that I would ship tomorow, and this is the response that I got - " Shipping today would be better... but I can wait another day. Really? This isn't Amazon dude. This is a bit unrealistic, BUT knowing the buyer pool over there, on...

Given life is just that way, a fair price is about $1000 more than I have in my paypal account. Seriously, though, I think they run about $3500 +- in the condition you describe.

I love the look of this one, and the dimensions, could be my first Seiko. Little confused, I can't find this exact one (SPB149J1 - blueish dial w/o a gold second hand). This does not appear to have a gold second hand (unless it's lighting). https://timeandtidewatches.com/wp-content/uploads/2020/04/...

Re: If I Ever Decide To Add another Damasko...

Not bad. Would be better without the crosshair on the dial and the day wheel, though. You will reach an age where a day wheel will help in keeping oriented X 3. Ha! Actually, I think it's very useful in these lockdown days. Just like no date watches, though, for me it's aesthetics over utility. Yup...

I’d take a look at the Islander from Long Island Watch. SKX case, and fixes the usual set of complaints about the SKX. Sapphire crystal, hack and hand wind movement, decent after market oyster bracelet, drilled lugs.
