Re: How many are still around?

I’m thinking I’m in there somewhere. The problem, of course, is I don’t remember what watches I had back then so I can’t find my picture.

I’m rethinking what exit/retirement watch actually means. I got nobody to impress or entertain but me anymore.

Solar tuna bracelet question

I have a solar tuna on the way, the SNE497 on bracelet. Does anyone know if the MM300 adjustable clasp fits this one? If yes, does anyone have a spare MM300 clasp for sale? 😁

Someday I'll learn (apparently not today, though)

So, I found a good price on a Seiko STBR007, the smaller 42.7mm solar Tuna. It's a great little watch, nice fit, keeps awesome time, solar, and so on. I wore it home for the holidays. My wife sees it, and comments on how it's a very interesting looking watch, easy to read, looks cool, nice size. "Wa...

Just in. It’s very cool, but maybe a bit complex for a simpleton like me.

I’ll be happy to take it off your hands, I imagine it’s embarrassing to admit you can’t figure out how it works.😀

Re: Solar tuna question

Thanks, guys. I was mistaken, the watch I was looking at is a different series, STBR023. Saw it on Seiya, thought it was part of the solar tuna family.

Solar tuna question

Depending on where I look, I see 47mm or 42.7 mm for case size. Can anyone enlighten me on this?

Looking for two piece nylon straps

Hi all,

I’m looking for two piece nylon straps for my Arnie. A NATO makes it too thick for me. Let me know who has some.

Thanks

Are BB58s still rare?

I look at the Tudor website and they show MSRP of $3700 on bracelet. I look on Recon and they’re at or above that used. Is Tudor going the way of Rolex now? I don’t get it.

Re: Christopher Ward C65 Supercompressor

I think it’s partly the color choices. I don’t get the orange lume dots from 12 to 4, and the overall color choices just don’t work for me. The internal bezel looks too thick as well. It’s ok, though, as a no date it’s a no go for me anyways.

Re: the exit watch

Exit watch? “Either this man is dead or my watch has stopped.” For me it’ll be what ever I’m wearing when I join that Norwegian Blue, ring down the curtain, and join the bleedin’ choir invisible. In other words, probably a solar Seiko or G-Shock. Part of me wants one nice watch, and the practical si...

Per the member list, we don’t have a tmush63 as a member. Maybe we should buy one? You know, with this amazing recommendation and all.

Got one incoming from Mimo’s. The 25% discount code still works. God, I’m weak.
Lol

Dibs!
Yeahhh.....no. It’s light weight, solar, has a few functions I’ll probably use. 200 meter WR for when I wash my hands (or my next colonoscopy), and it looks just a little bit goofy. I like it so far.

I'm confused - he's selling these in 4 sizes - 38mm, 42mm, 43mm, and 45mm??
Think SKX 007 and 013, SRP NAFT, and Samurai cases. That’s what he’s basing these on.

Arnie

This picture, from another thread, makes me want an Arnie. I have a Digi-tuna, and the Arnie is smaller?
