Re: What do you drive???

Very nice! Thinking about grabbing a Tacoma next year but want to wait until the Ranger arrives to the US.

Re: Westworld?

Love the show, has watch Season 1 twice (second watching helped a lot).

The first two episodes of Season 2 are very confusing (you are watching three different points in time). It gets more linear afterwards. Worth it in my opinion.

Re: Gift for the wife need opinions.

Are you sure she wants an automatic watch. Most women I know prefer quartz. Yep, years ago I bought a Cartier Tank for my wife. Does not wear it because is an auto and she doesn't have time to set it. I bought my wife an apple watch and she loves it. You can get a pink strap for it if you want. Gav...

Re: Gift for the wife need opinions.

31mm is a good size, my wife wears a 31mm Movado and it works, even looks small when compared to modern Michael Kors watches (which she also like). She tried my 38mm Sinn the other day and honestly it looked great on her.

20mm is too small.

Re: Black Bay GMT, 58, S&G & Tudor 1926 First Impressions

58 on bracelet for me, absolutely love it. I would change the crown (as mentioned) to just screw all the way, but its not an issue for me. That size, from brand with a lot of history and with an inhouse movement with a great power reserve... it's a steal. I bet they do a blue dial in the next year o...

Re: Responsibility

Nope.

The person should work the issue with the "watchmaker". Even if the "watchmaker" says that there were damaged parts in the watch, there is no way to prove they were not damaged or exchanged by the watchmaker. The fact is, it was working when you sold it.

Fuck yeah Eric, that looks great on your wrist (so I'll look great on mine too, and it goes to my wish list).

Congrats!

Re: How do you guys delineate between an "Homage" vs. Copy/Ripoff?

Me, I'd only buy a homage if it was something unobtainable. Meaning its no longer made, and financially unobtainable, such as a MilSub. I'm not against this and actually have bought several over the years (Raven, Steinhart, etc). Funny thing is, they never stick, I think because I tend to always gr...

It does look way more red on the promotional photo (rendering?)... at least it looks "reder" than the pink bezel in the photo above. Too bad, I was digging this model a lot.

Damn it Seiko. I didn’t even notice it myself... He’s right. The bezel is not even useful on this. Why??? Track seconds with a bezel? That’s some backwards fu$&ing pageantry. Always something.... You shut up. Bezels are awesome. Life should have more clicky bezels. Yeap, way easier to turn the beze...
