The 857 UTC I had was a winner though.
Miss that watch, despite the servicing issues I had.
Great watch indeed

Re: Sinn SDR Question

Bezel is tough, but after owning both I prefer the aesthetics of the regular bezel.

The 857 UTC I had was a winner though.

Re: Hodinkee's "One-watch" article

I'd choose either the Speedmaster Professional or the Planet Ocean 2500 as my 'one watch'. Both could pretty much do it all for me, with the PO tipping the balance due to WR. That said, I hope I never have to choose just one ;) Amen brother! And great choices  I really like the NAFTS, but Sei...

Re: Hodinkee's "One-watch" article

So, I meant _truly_ one watch. No SKX, no G-Shock. Because that may change your choices a bit. Still Speedy for me, but I confess that I've never taken the Speedy to the beach (that's the PO's work, or any other beater I have at the moment). For instance, on my motorcycling road trips, dive trips e...

Is it just me or when you think about the "one watch" question the thought of "yeah but G-shocks don't count" or "I can also pair it with an SKX" comes to your mind? #itsadisease

Re: Hondinkee's

Speedy over Sub for a one watch, unless you like diving with your watch. James' choice of the Tudor GMT seems forced, as he owns a Rolex ExpII (40mm model). As much as I like everything I currently have, if I had to choose only one it would be the 216570. https://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/20180710/49...

This watch is the only thing appearing on IG feed since this morning

I like it, but I agree that for the price, bracelet should be included.

Although I like it, Omega should re-release the white dial Snoopy and/or the Panda Speedy Tuesday (or an inverse version).

Re: Kickstarter - Halograph Automatic

 The circle at the top end of the hour hand is over the '1' in the photo so the hour is '1'. The other end of the hour hand is not over any numerals so it's irrelevant at that time. Think about what happens to the positions of the circles at the end of the hour hand as the hand rotates clo...

Cool looking way to tell the time, dial looks nice, but I don't like the lugless case (or anything related to the case actually).

I also wish it used a bigger movement, that display back looks silly. Almost always I prefer an exhibition caseback but in this case, solid would be better.

A friend recently bought a watch on St. Maarten, he had the AD send the box via USPS to his house and wore the watch the rest of the trip without declaring it when he got back to US soil. Exactly this. That is what I would do. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk I was going to suggest this too, but ...
