Re: Thoughts on Vacheron Constantin Overseas?

I'm so glad I don't have any desire to own any of these bracelet-integrated watches. I personally don't agree they are top 3, maybe 3 of the top 6-8?

Re: All of Tudor's New Baselworld 2018 Releases

Now I’m thinking dirty thoughts.....again. 114060 Sub + BB58 and out? I tried both on last week at AD Ed, 58 is too small for us, it really is for an under 7" wrist. Which is great 'cause everyone said BBB is too this and that. Also I loved GMT on my wrist, they shaved/chamfered the sides of the ca...

Re: Incoming! Banzai! Seiko!

Great looking watch, Art. The only reason I'm holding back from buying now is I'm still loving on my 053. The thought that pops into my head after seeing the recent posts regarding that micro homage manufacturer is, for about $500, this Seiko kicks the crap out of them. Thanks everyone I'm enjoying...

Re: Incoming! Banzai! Seiko!

Definitely the best Turtle I've ever had on my wrist. The dial is just stunning in person. The ocean waves reminiscent of PP Nautilus but in a random order just like the waves and d-blue style gradient dial is extremely well done contrasting beautiful coarse brushed hands that remind me of coarse br...

Incoming! Banzai! Seiko!

So I wanted to do something for the ocean. Looked at BP Ocean Commitment 3 and it's a too small for me since it's the same case as the creamsicle edition I've tried on before. Kept on googling and reading, and then I stumbled on this article and immediately ordered one for myself. https://monochrome...

There's a reason he didn't promote this one...
I like/bought some of their models but I don't promote Alpina lol

Edit: I think the date window looks better on a white dial I have yet to try

While I realize it is all a personal decision as to where your judgement lies on these "homages", I'm going with the hard pass on this one. I can't be disgusted with the MM300 copies and Tuna copies being so beloved on WUS and not lump this into the same category. The SM300 copy I feel is a differe...

Had the grey dial for a few weeks on loan and couldn't live with the date window.

If it were centered between the markers it might have a hope of working, but as is it's a fail.
