Re: WRUW 14 Aug 2018

I keep trying to bail on this one and wear something else, but Dammit i love how it feels on the wrist, My only gripe is that the lume isn't near as good as the other Its ive owned. https://lh3.googleusercontent.com/x8Ff7HAALSABfEJ-8TDLQYTzKf9iWG1DlGse6nx31jiyx0-aBxVP_UyKE6GEfm_X_whHpdlgAmbnAFVfP2Z...

Re: Ever sold a watch because of weight?

Yes. I’ve sold every U-series Sinn I’ve owned because of weight. 45mm Planet Oceans too. I loved all the larger, heavier watches I’ve owned but when something had to go it was the heavy ones first. Since I wear most of mine on nato it was an easy choice. The 45mm PO on bracelet is the only watch th...

Re: Shogun vs Pelagos

Case shape of course plays a role Although Pelagos does suffer from a mild case of Nomos lugs it's nowhere near BB gaps Too much talking about BWITW and not enough pics ;) https://media.fotki.com/2v2JqN5b5xAqZad.jpg https://media.fotki.com/2v2JqN51rxAqZad.jpg https://media.fotki.com/2v2JqN5pjxAqZad....

Re: Shogun vs Pelagos

All these talks and posts about Pelagos lately make me want a 11th and as a keeper this time of course [emoji4] It is definitely a watch that sticks with you in the head. I keep thinking about another too..... damn I hope they make a thinner version with the new movement. Not to beat a dead h...

Re: Seaforth GMT tomorrow

It was cool of Jason to send free GMTs to each of the DWC Admins. Thanks again, Jason. Boom He’s really a great guy. No matter what Andrea says. I got one only because I didn't use Tapatalk. I had it in the cart for 10 minutes cause I had to use a restroom, came back and completed the purchase. Yey!

Re: Nato Buying Guide

I have several ToxicNATO's and agree that they are great. However, at 1.4 thick with two passes under the watch, some watches can sit very high on the wrist. Most seatbelt style natos are the same. Phenome Natos come in at 1.2 which I like better and find them more comfortable and well. The Gear Pa...

I went w the 2 liner. Would rather have the reliability and easy service of the ETA. And thinner, less text, lume plot by the date, etc.

I keep forgetting about the lume plot next to date. Wonder why Tudor decided to drop it

Re: Shogun vs Pelagos

Hypothetical question .Would any of you guys still pick the ETA over the in house if the in house had the same 2 lines of text on the dial instead of the novel? Then it would solely depend on price and availability. I would take either Same price, both brand new and in front of you for the taking.....

Shogun is a cool watch. The Pelagos is one of the best watches. If you can stretch to get one, do it. I let mine go last year, and I really miss it.
Me too, so much that I'm hunting down a BNIB left over of the 2 liner so I can keep it for good.

Pelagos is the only titanium, full-lumed bezel diver Rolex makes. That's it, compare.

Re: Seaforth GMT tomorrow

For me, it's emblematic of the Participation Trophy generation. A big chunk of the (mostly younger) population thinks its entitled to something just because it showed up and wants it. I just don't understand this. And yes, it's good to have opinions, but strong opinions about something like this......
