That's a fresh approach instead of making 25 dummy posts like "aha, that's dope, yeah i have that seiko too, man one day, congrats" :)

i get it i guess, Always nice to get a little freebie.
I won't miss that freebie. Honestly it's too short too flimsy, fixed location for the bars. basically a meh.

Why does Seiko insist on such heavy overhangs on a lot of their watches, ruins pretty much all of them.

Re: Hodinkee's "One-watch" article

For me least expensive one-watch would a Turtle as well 777, 779, 773 in no particular order. I'd do a sapphire conversion and that would be it.

Re: Tudor aftermarket rubber straps

I can't help but wonder – with all the new rubber strap makers cropping up (a'la Everest), aren't these all getting squirted outta the same moulds somewhere in either Italy or Switzerland? I just grabbed a "Zealande" strap for my SMPO via Watch Obsession, and it's basically identical to the Everest...

Re: Who Owns Who -

Saw someone posted this elsewhere. Not news for most of you but still pretty neat. It's missing a few brands such as Sinn, Oris, and others. But it's a pretty good picture of who owns who. I personally didn't know Fossil owns so many "mall" watches. https://media.fotki.com/2v2JCTByhxAqZad.png It is...

Re: Hodinkee's "One-watch" article

I would say GMT (whatever 5 or 6 digit) would be a close second for me. I'm standing in line for new Pepsi and undoubtedly will enjoy the shit out of it but over the years I tend to gravitate to time only watches +- date complication, so I will get tired of the GMT eventually with an extra hand that...

Re: Speedy Tuesday Ultraman

Love it but just can’t do 7100 for a speedy and the lack of bracelet also bothers me but it’s a beauty +1, that is a hefty premium over the Speedy Pro on bracelet which has an MSRP of $5250. But a cool watch, congrats to everyone here who reserved one. Considering that a regular Speedy is 3400-3500...

Re: Tudor aftermarket rubber straps

Would it kill these rubber strap makers to provide an XL version too? Isofrane would make me happy if they simply gave us an optional buckle side that was 15-20mm longer. The tongue side could be the same. I believe my wrist (7.75") is larger than yours and I have no issue with the length of Isofra...
