Re: New 2018 Seiko SPB077/079

Looks more modern and less crowded than MM300 with a more pleasing bezel to dial ratio . I like it.

Re: Rolex AD event - 2018 Basel content

The colors are identical to the WG version. Are there people who haven’t seen one of those af this point? I was hoping for a tweak in the color on the SS version. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk Precisely, hoped for a tweak. When my turn comes up I'll go look at it of course but I just might get...

Re: Rolex AD event - 2018 Basel content

Great report Ed.
Thank God for Tudor, otherwise I would call Basel 2018 a bunch of missed opportunities, between pseudo diver from JLC and pink/purple Rolex that should be called Tab and not Pepsi

Re: Black Bay GMT, 58, S&G & Tudor 1926 First Impressions

58 on bracelet for me, absolutely love it. I would change the crown (as mentioned) to just screw all the way, but its not an issue for me. That size, from brand with a lot of history and with an inhouse movement with a great power reserve... it's a steal. I bet they do a blue dial in the next year ...

Re: Responsibility

If the watch was working properly upon his receipt then no of course not
A little more info and reason why he had it disassembled would help "If a person that you sold a working watch to takes the watch and has it disassembled"

Monta deal all over again? https://www.laventure.swiss/en/the-watches/laventure-sous-marine-collection/laventure-sous-marine-steel-blue Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk Still 1500 too much Agree. Re: Black Bay GMT, 58, S&G & Tudor 1926 First Impressions

My buddy John and I are attending the local Rolex / Tudor preview on Wednesday, so I’ll check this sucker out. I really don’t understand the crown design, other than that they wanted to be different. The “guts” of the crown are basically like the other Rolex stuff. It comes from the historic 7924 "...

Re: New 2018 Seiko SPB077

Yes 53 looked good with 20mm, I didn't notice anything odd on any strap including natos. However this one, I am afraid, will be more like Sumo which looks terrible on straps at some angles.

Definitely at 500$ like the Creation deal was I'm still a buyer to take it for a spin.

While I vastly prefer the older thinner lugs on bracelet, the new case works amazing on straps.

Having a man wrist probably helps, but still
Agreed
