Watched all the seasons of Mr Inbetween…Going to start Shogun on Hulu..Check out Gangs of London on Netflix..
Friend also suggested another high quality Austrailan gangster show called Last King of the Cross. It's on Paramount TV which I don't get.

Mr Inbetween on Disney +

Discovered this little gem of a show. About a hitman in Austrailia and how he manages his job and personal life. It's on Disney Plus in Canada. Lots of action and better production quality/story line than Reacher. I've been crushing lots of shows as I've been going on the treadmill each night for 1 ...

Re: What happened to the 300m Tunas?

SBBN045 showed up today after a 12 days of shipping from Ireland. Outer box looked like a truck ran over it, but the seller had it wrapped up in so much bubble wrap, that the Seiko box and watch were fine. I've already lost one of the 22mm FAT sprinbars pulling off the strap. Anyone have a good sour...

I’ve taken apart many tuna bezels with no issues… don’t ask Hoppy he should be arrested for what he did to his. Just makes sure you have a good driver like this one- https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B0000WTBO4/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_search_asin_title?ie=UTF8&psc=1 These have saved me sooo many times. I’v...

Re: Frozen Bezel

In the past, I've used a silicone grease (Shin Etsu) or a silicone to get under the bezel. Side benefit is it keeps the rubber gasket from drying out. It's the same stuff the watchmakers use when lubing up rubber o-ring gaskets for crowns and casebacks.

Re: I think I get the 36mm joke.

That size does look really good on your wrist. I had a 36mm Tudor day - date (rare one with the mercedes hands and the cali dial) but found it was too small on my 7.25" wrist. I'm wearing a 39mm grand seiko these days and it seems perfect for me. I suspect it has more to do with the shape of the wri...

Re: What happened to the 300m Tunas?

Did you end up buying one? I'm also looking for one SBBN045 (or the 43 which is the blue) and none to be found anywhere. The one at Sakura seems like a fair price but shipping to Canada and taxes/duty negate the deal. I bought one (045) then set out to tighten the bezel because it seemed loose to m...

Re: New Seiko Thread

Have we heard any updates on what the new Marine Master 300 is going to look like? Seems like Seiko is still releasing some LE's with that discontinued case. Some websites are suggesting the MM300 is done but that doesn't make much sense.

I like this one a lot. I had an older Monaco and really loved wearing it. Having said that, the price on this one makes it a no go for me.

Re: The Resurgence of Breitling

The brand is dead to me. I purchased a brand new, yellow dial titanium avenger seawolf from a dealer. I kept it on a winder and only ever unscrewed the crown to change the time for daylight savings. I was very careful when unscrewing the crown as I always am with any dive watch. Crown tube stripped ...

Re: Why are used GS's selling for so cheap?

I just snagged a near mint SBGJ239 which is the green dial, high beat gmt with the sapphire bezel for $4,500 CAD ($3,400 USD). Maybe it's because it was bigger than most GS at 43mm but it wears like a 41mm watch. Hard to beat that value on the used market. Seller bought it from a dealer in order to ...

Re: Lets talk dash cameras

I had a cheap one and , like Ryeguy, hardwired it into the cable for the powered rearview mirror. Mine had a small battery that would record for a while when the car was shut off that was activated by a "bump". So, if some dingbat bumped into the car while parked, it wouldn't record the actual accid...

Re: New Seiko Thread

I wonder if having the GMT chapter ring means the alignment issues of the past are gone. Does the GMT ring rotate? If not, it's probably the usual crapshoot regarding alignment. It doesn't rotate but I would think they would take some extra care to get it aligned as customers will be upset if the G...

Re: Looking for a Seiko Diver - Thoughts?

If you are going to look at the MM200 with the dark blue dial, it's worth looking at the latest MM200 with the light blue "birch bark" texture on the dial. Local dealer has it and it's really nice.

Personal opinion, but I think these new STO limited edition Seiko's are some of the best sub $1K watches on the market today bar none. My "glacier" dial SBDC165 has become a favorite of my collection. Yours, the MM200 and white/silver willard glacier dials are really nice. The 62mas and MM200 wear ...

Re: New Seiko Thread

Picked up the SPB333 today. I haven't even unpacked mine yet but my friend was wearing his and I had a chance to play around with it. A few thoughts: - Great size for those with smaller wrists. Reminds of an old Submariner with the way it wears - Bracelet is nice quality. Maybe one of the better Sei...

Re: New Seiko Thread

They had the SLA065 at the shop this weekend. I'm not sure I love it. Bigger case than the re-issues, lume plots look a bit cheap. It's the same price as an SLA023 which seems better finished. Like the dial on this blacked out version though
