Re: Blue Snowflake

Great exemple,i miss my ex and i need another. Prices have multiplicated sadly.

Leave the cyclop, it's how the watch was born. If it's really a matter, use a 5513 crystal. Wether it leaks or not,i wouldn't ever put this watch in the water !

Don't do it !

Hi there.
I have an incoming sub300T. The crystal looks mineral to me, right ? I saw pics and it seems to be a stepped one. Any tips about a replacement one would help much.

Re: Any Yema Superman experts here ???

Yes, it's the first version of the bezel, maybe 1965, the acrylic probably appeared in 68/70.

Re: Any Yema Superman experts here ???

Hi. Your superman is legit. It's the first version bezel. The bakelite appeared on later reference 24.11.17. The watch in the link is not redialed. The lining finish of the dial is impossible to reproduce. There are some redials around, more pure withe than the original greyish. I paid 200 last week...

Re: Real or fake Girard Perregaux

Not the GP usual finish for the AS1130. South-america has very imaginative redialers. So many cuervo dials but how many original ?
A Cuba based brand may not haves old tons.

Nope, the one with non full red dial and non laser etched crown are real. Check also how the triangle on the bezel looks.

Ouch.... If I let go of a no-date blue snowflake sub, I'd be super pissed... And it was not any snowflake.... At this time, you could find one twice a year, never paid more than 1k euro for these. If i knew how balistic they are today, i would certainly have kept one. 79 gone too. All you needed wa...

Re: My 60s Eterna Kontiki Super

This post kills me. I've been long looking for one with a decent dial and bezel and eventually price, not esay. I've always considered the no-number dials as relumes as the only i saw in real had the numbers. It's quite interesting for me to learn both did exist. Really an iconic watch with a killer...

Re: Interesting thread on fake fortis marine master

Some forum runners have too big egos, worst when it comes to pricey, i sould say overevaluated watches, they turn paranoid. As told before, it makes their board totally unreliable without freedom of speech. About the fortis, you can destroy it in 3 seconds. Laser on a seventies watch ? No way. Even ...

An original advert. You can see they were dealt by "la spirotechnique" in france.

Strap may be tropic, if original, it's tuff as a rock. Nice catch with a well kept dial. not easy to find.

My blog.
We talked already about it before.

Which sub do you mean ? Cousteau's ? The one on jake's blog is the best i've seen. Probably a 6202 as it's year 1955.
