Re: Guinand G44 Deepwave
I'm probably going to sound like a downer here but, while I think the G44 looks nice enough and I'm sure the quality is there, there's really nothing distinctive about it - it kind of looks like a million other dive watches. It would have been nice to see something a bit more unique from a design pe...

Re: New Bright Star 155S
Granted it isn't Tegimented, but for about $1500 less I'd probably opt for the Guinand Starfighter. Same movement too. Hard for me to justify nearly $4K for a Sinn.

Re: What are you buying?
The Vulcain Nautique would definitely be on my radar at $1500. I just wish it was 40-42mm instead of 38mm. Coming in way under budget would be the 42mm Hamilton Khaki Field with white dial. I somehow missed the fact that they'd come out with a larger case size for the Khaki Field. https://www.hamilt...

Re: Tapatalk F'd Up Again...
The site has been having intermittent database problems. A database upgrade is in our future. In the meantime, I've fixed the latest issue so the site should be stable again.

Re: WRUW = MONDAY = 02 05 24
Spent the day so far cleaning up after yesterday's storm. Turns out lots of rain and multiple wind gusts over 60 mph (and one well over 80 mph according to my weather station!) tends to make a mess. We've had no power here since Sunday :scream: Andrew, sorry to hear. I know from personal experience...

I like it too. My only wish would be for Heuer-only branding.

Gorgeous, one of my favorite Omegas ever. I'd love to see Omega bring this back in a slightly more modern size.

Re: Certina DS Super PH1000M
For those considering buying one, I used the German AD Olfert. They ship to the US and have good communication. FYI these guys are ADs for Certina in the US. https://teddybaldassarre.com/collections/certina No affiliation and I've never purchased from them so I have no first-hand experience. It loo...

It was a website problem that I think took a few for Tapatalk to catch up. I’m posting from Tapatalk now. Thanks for the info. The DWC sessions table crashed earlier and needed to be repaired. Doing that may have left invalid session cookies stored in Tapatalk. One possible solution could be to log...
