Hands, markers, and date are all slightly different. Even if all of those things were the same as the original, it would be considered an homage since...

I like this a lot. I’m sure the price is dumb, though.
Fratello is reporting 7500 CHF, which is about the same in USD.

Thanks Tom- what's up with their branding? Is that a mountain between the Mont and the Blanc?
Mont Blanc means 'white mountain' in French. "White Mountain" is apparently the highest mountain in the Alps. I could live without the picture of the mountain too.

There was what appeared to be a darker red a couple years ago that was nicer. It was on a version of the TT 1931.

FWIW, I read online that the red 'SPITFIRE' text on the dial was only on the pre-production versions and will be removed from the production versions. This photo of the chronograph at ablogtowatch does seem to show some proof of this: https://www.ablogtowatch.com/wp-content/uploads/2019/01/IWC-Pilot...

I realize I'm in the minority here, but I don't think the submersible style works all that well in the 42mm case size - the 682 I tried on seemed to have odd proportions. A 44mm model would probably be just right.
