Re: Thinking about next purchase.

Personally, I want to like the Tudor more. I like the vintage feel of the rivet bracelet and, generally speaking, I don't like the faux-vintage of artificially aged lume (this is a general statement, not a knock specifically against the Omega). That said, I find diving chronographs a bit of an odd ...

Muhle Glashutte 29er on sailcloth today. Orange stitch doesn't match the red second hand but trying to figure out if I want to pick up a red stitched one. https://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/20180923/cc63b4aa9f6726dab84c93ee82f5c724.jpg Might look cool with the red stitch. I wore mine on the OEM black...

Re: A Few Motorsports Photos

Nice! What do you use for metering? This is a pretty contrast-y scene, and you nailed the exposure! http://thesociallandscape.photography/wp-content/uploads/2018/09/6710-img023-2-646x1024.jpg Thanks! I typically use a Seikonic 308S hand-held meter. In this case I had to guesstimate since I couldn't...

Re: Anyone picked up or planning to pick up the new iPhone?

I can't be the only one who thinks $1K for a phone is redonkulous It’s steep for sure. But considering how much people use their phones, it’s all relative I guess. Plus, most normal people think we’re crazy to spend any amount on a watch when a phone tells the time just fine! Yup, this is why I sta...

A Few Motorsports Photos

A friend of mine talked me into attending an IMSA race at Laguna Seca Raceway a couple of weeks ago. That's not my favorite form of racing but I thought it would be fun to try and take a few photos at a motorsports event since I rarely do that. A fully manual film camera isn't really the best tool f...

Re: Sandwich dial Luminors are back!

Have had a couple of Luminors at 44 and agree - great size. Haven’t had a 45 mm Radiomir on but I’ve heard that they wear similarly to the Luminors? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk I'd say a 45mm Rad wears smaller than a 44mm Luminor. I'd agree with that. My 190 wears a bit smaller than my 000.

Re: A couple of new in-house Radiomirs

I wish there was a $4,000 Luminor that didn’t have spring bars and the shitty case. I wish these weren’t Richemont. I've owned five Panerais (still own four) and have never had an issue with any of them, including the in-house movements. I have three JLCs and one did develop an issue soon after I b...

Fresh off the truck from Japan. Mint 3572.50 t-dial. It looks like it just came from Omega, really a fantastic example. Tapered bracelet and display back for the win! https://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/20180914/8164588ac5aff1fd05492cdae7469b36.jpg https://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/20180914/3fcf30e2bfb...

Reminds me a bit of the Glycine Airman SST, but the Glycine appears to have better proportions.
