Re: So... the new PO

I gotta tell you the amount of interesting watches Omega makes nowadays is amazing. Granted a lot of them are controversial and not for everyone. I honestly think they're overextending themselves with their designs and their LEs, but they've got enough "standard" models to keep people happy. Plus, ...

Re: Car Spotting

Cool RS America. I love air-cooled 911s. Never owned one, and probably never will. Too "dear" as my grandmother would say. They used to be a lot more affordable, but went through a period of crazy appreciation. I think the market has cooled off a bit in the last couple of years, but prices are stil...

Re: Car Spotting

I thought it would be fun if we kept a thread going of rare or otherwise interesting cars seen on the road. No show cars, please. I saw this rare beauty this morning. I wish I could get a better photo. https://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/20190519/eff4ff076b07fc358848bf4da7f0fdfe.jpg Cool RS America.

I'm sad that this is all they could for 50th year Speedy
I personally think that, despite all of the LEs and anniversary models, the standard Speedmaster Pro is the one to get. But I am disappointed that no 2254.50 replacement was released.

Re: Video Of The Latest Omegas

I can’t get excited about anything released this year. +1 none of those models appeal to me. ^^^ Correction, I didn't realize that they had released the stainless steel De Ville Tresor in a white dial, I thought it was only available with a textured blue dial. The white dial I like. I liked the wat...

Re: So... the new PO

I guess it’s on the orange side of red. At least in this pic, it doesn’t look particularly orange. Especially since they’ve hit a good orange with the original PO 2500/8500. Whatever it is, I'm with you. The grey bezel/white dial combination is the better one. I find silver hands on a white dial di...

The Air Command is really beautiful. I don't like "cut" numbers, but it looks good nonetheless. Nice font, not a lot of text, bezel insert is nice, great hands. Winner.

The 39.5 model is a LE of about 50 if I read correctly. The regular model looks different and is 43.
There are 69 pieces of the LE.

So the 39.5 LE is 9,700 euros.....how much is the regular production 39.5 size?
8,500 Euros.
I’m out
I made a bit of an edit above. They're all the same price, but the non-LE is available on a bracelet for 9700 Euros. I realize that doesn't change your decision :)

They're all 8,500-8,800 Euros on strap (depending on buckle). The non-LE is available on bracelet for 9,700 Euros.

One word of caution to a serial flipper like yourself: While great watches, GOs can take a real beating on the secondary market.

Re: Glashutte Original Spezimatic divers

Not something I'd expect from GO but kind of interesting. I get the vintage roots, but a bit small for a diver at 39mm IMHO. I'm a big GO fan so curious to see them in person. Where are yo I seeing 39mm? This one looks great. https://www.glashuette-original.com/collection/spezialist/seaq-panorama-d...
