Re: So I picked out a Flieger...

So it comes on a rubber strap? I wouldn't think a rubber would go well on a flieger, but that looks perfect. It really does work well with the rubber... This flieger is a bit more contemporary, according to Stowa, and so they offer it on rubber to accommodate that updated look. That being said I am...

So I picked out a Flieger...

Just wanted to follow up with you guys on a question I posed earlier this summer re: flieger watches. I asked you guys your opinion for a flieger style watch like a Laco/Stowa/Archimede etc. Lots of great responses and thoughtful help. I finally went with a Stowa TO2. Several things lead me towards ...

Re: Tudor North Flag anyone?

I can only imagine resale is gonna be rough and the unusual lugs may make it less versatile....but I dig it...cool movement and unique design....If you can get it for a decent price used, I'd jump

Re: Thoughts / Experience with Laco / Stowa Flieger

The new Stowa T02 Flieger model is nice too! http://i864.photobucket.com/albums/ab206/andrema_bucket/Stowa%20T02%20Flieger/IMG_0896_zpsfyustv3q.jpg Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk I am leaning seriously toward this one, for its more modern design and increased water resistance. Saw your review o...

any reason you're not interested in the archimede? that would be in your price range, too. i know drew has one of the bronze ones. come in 36/39/42/45mm. eta2824 movement. about $550 on leather (w/o VAT). http://www.archimede-watches.com/watches/pilot.html http://www.archimede-watches.com/media/cat...

Re: Thoughts / Experience with Laco / Stowa Flieger

I've owned a Laco Dortmund and Westerland, both 45mm sterile dial B-Uhr reproductions. They're nicely made and the closest thing to the real deal. They do wear pretty large and the lugs are straight so consider carefully which size to buy. If I bought again I might consider the 42mm. Laco's custome...

What's the difference between the regular flieger and the flieger sport?
