I think I might need this and move my 42mm model along.

Long day. Still haven’t been to bed. Was supposed to be done with work at 6am and got out of there around 7:30 after filling out incident reports. Still too much going in my head to rest. It’s not fun when things literally come off the rails. https://image.ibb.co/hCWdbm/9_BD7902_F_849_D_479_B_951_A_...

Sounds like installing the bracelet on the Samurai reissue. There’s absolutely no play in it’s fit and unless you get both sides of the spring bar compressed simultaneously it’s just not going in.

95% of the men walking around NYC look like this. It’s ridiculous. I bought a suit from Bergdorf Goodman over ten years ago. The salesman was wearing a suit with skinny pants that were too short, and he wasn't wearing socks. Turns out he was way ahead of his time. I prefer more conventionally-cut s...

^^^ That date window absolutely spoils that watch. Yuck. That is the "big date" for blind old men I presume. They have similar models without it fortunately. It's all academic to me, mainly because I am poor. No kidding their watches are amazing. I actually like oversized date. The big date video t...

That was a big gamble. He should’ve done it with stainless steel and a Seiko engine.

Roger that. It looks way too cartoonish to have titanium and an ETA. Big boost in price for something a Deep Blue fan would like.

The site says it’s 1.4mm thick like a ZULU, but retains the toxic hardware instead of rings.

The new Strapcode bracelet looks better than the Seiko bracelet. https://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/20180108/9e712299ef9b211bf1fc133704aa7ab9.jpg https://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/20180108/cc3af63e70310c8d0396d306498462c1.jpg I don’t know. Love that. Wish I could have found this deal when I bought my Fireman. I might have snagged this one. Love that they put screw down crowns on everything. They make the best bracelets in this price range.

I loved the Vintage-esq nature of the 017 and the killer crystal, but the size of this one works better for larger folks like you and me. I keep saying it, but these really don't wear that large. I like smaller watches and find that it wears fine. L2L is a bit longer than an SKX, as Todd pointed ou...

Re: Seiko SBDC051/053

Not feeling that green. The blue version is great now that it’s grown on me, but to be fair the 62mas design has never really appealed to me. I know that I’m wrong in saying this if I actually saw it in person, but considering that I don’t care for the original 62mas and the LE is so close in look t...

Really like this one. Whatever you do don't follow them on IG. It could push you over the edge. Already bought a Ball Fireman and then followed Ball on FB and just learned about the Engineer III LE. My wallet couldn’t take on a 3rd new watch. Really having a bad case of the wants with watches again...

Ok I am officially in trouble now On second thought, the top ones look to have an exact replica of the Omega twisted lug design. I doubt they’re a twisted design. Reminds me of how the lugs taper on the SARX033. Since this is quartz it might be somewhat affordable. 39mm is perfect.

Re: Seiko 6159 reissue!!!!

That dial definitely looks more like the one in the picture than the Rolex - not. It's OK to like Seiko and realize that many of their design elements are 100% ripped off. Like that bracelet on the GS you posted. It's 100% ripped off from the much older Omega design. Or the cyclops that now adorns ...

Re: Seiko 6159 reissue!!!!

That green one is a laugh. Just what the world needed - A Seiko produced homage to the Rolex LV. I’m not sure that’s the impression I’m getting. It seems like they’re using the color scheme they’ve been using on the LE GS models with the gold accents they’ve used. If the green was a similar shade a...
