Re: Uncle Seiko Chocolate Bar strap

I've definitely been more interested in straps lately and rubber ones in particular. This looks nice. I might need to pick one up.

Re: Does anyone use these?

Other than seeing them on Isofrane’s site I’ve never seen a real picture of one until now.

Re: Turdle bracelets and clasps.

I do like that beads of rice. I just sold the OEM bracelet. It was plenty comfortable but I really didn't think it looked like it fit the style of the watch. It reminded me too much of the Sumo MM300 style. Love the watch on straps, though I think the BOR fits the style best when it comes to bracele...

I like that as well. Surprisingly I'd figure I would like it best on the Sub, but I think it looks even better on the Daytona.

I figured there were some plastic parts in the swiss movement too. Cool that they don't use them.

Any thought to offer on hand grinders? I like how its compact and don't mind the work. https://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/20181208/d4625e755ab3e0f94ce4d274a738169b.jpg I had a Hario grinder. Took forever to grind enough. Especially if you want it fine. With a Hario you can mod it to use an electric d...

Re: Grand Seiko SBGA387 Review

I think I could rock the dial color, but I know I could deal with looking at the dial texture all day long. Really nice. That's my issue with some dressier watches. I prefer pretty simple dials. It looks nice but I don't really like dial effects on dressier looking watches. It's one of the things I...

If someone loans me a 62mas style diver I will do a 3-way!!! Turdle/PM62MAS/MM 3-Way https://i.imgur.com/Glcwf3k.jpg https://i.imgur.com/kHH0kMQ.jpg the 62mas look case even at a quick glance looks like the nicest one here. The sharper finished edges look even nicer than the MM300 in these pictures...

Re: New MM300 (SLA021/SBDX023)

SBDC051 wears like an absolute dream. Sinks into the wrist, which the MM300 does not. https://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/20181204/a3b5460fcd0c839f6152e873ba8d17e9.jpg I love this one. I just wish Seiko would properly integrate their end link designs. They always look a bit unfinished, but maybe that'...

Re: Bored and playing with Linux

I'm sure this is absolute blasphemy, but my obsession with tech lately has gotten me playing around with Linux. My old Dell now looks like Mac OS. https://i.ibb.co/prxh8nn/macos.png I went down that rabbit hole long ago on an old desktop in my basement. It was fun and I enjoyed aspects, but simple ...

Re: New MM300 (SLA021/SBDX023)

Great photo. Would love to see this photo with the SBDC051 added to the mix. The problem with the MM300 is that Seiko has been releasing newer divers with better bracelets and similar finishing at a fraction of the cost - and they wear better. https://i.imgur.com/MQkQsBU.jpg This is exactly it. Eve...

Nice what version are you using? I am thinking about going back to it soon I’m running Ubuntu 18.04 64bit. Sweet. Are you liking it? I need to start converting some of my PC's over to it. I love it. The only downside is that it is easy to screw it up messing up with the back end setup if you’re int...

I like the new ones touches and even the original one over the 6R15 powered model, but I like the proportions so much better with the 6R15 that I've strongly considered trying one.

Re: Car Alarms?

I haven't had a detector since I was in high school. I guess I've lost the desire to speed on a regular basis. It seems like the more extreme performance the car is that I have the more civilized I am at any given time. I'll randomly do burnouts in fast cars and hard acceleration, but not regularly.

Re: Car Alarms?

What year is your F150? The reason I ask is that I used to install alarms and remote starts for a living more than 10 years ago and I have a 2017 F150 and with the way the factory alarm and remote start work it's not really an upgrade going to an aftermarket system. Ford does make an add-on module t...
