Re: My Submariner out for a full service.

Lititz Watch Technicum in PA is the official name and consists of the school and a separate service center, which normally handles overflow from the other rsc's: that's why many do not know it exists.

Re: My Submariner out for a full service.

He did a great job and it only took a week and cost 200 bucks plus 25 for shipping ;). It’s not the “real deal” but I was very happy with the entire experience nothing wrong with trade watchmakers as long as the customer has the proper expectations: many shops are "to the trade" only, their clients...

How about absence of papers? Let’s say dial, hands, bezel all check out as original.
many of these older watches make their way into the used market via the death of an owner and resulting estate sales. many resellers have no boxes/papers to sell.
a good condition unmolested watch is worth it.

Re: Missed opportunity

best to give them a call and discuss your case in particular: there is much they can do but they need to see a photo of the piece. Beau has done numerous projects for me.

my son, the street wear fan, says it's a common hack with places like supreme, 30 sales from the same buyer in less than a minute but they solved it and ecommerce continues. unfortunately jason is facing the same situation.

The W is for West. I believe the ad is on the West Side of Japan. The coordinates are actually on the back of the watch. It’s been a while since I looked it up.
ok, thanks. I wish other AD's would produce some interesting le's.

I saw someone on another forum say an AD in Australia quoted them $5500 AU. So somewhere around $4300 USD if his numbers are correct.
that's not far off from last year's sla017.

i've owned 2: both needed work and finding replacement movement and case parts was just crazy, even with japanese help to search repair shops there. after a few years i gave up and sold them.

you can get the ceramic bezel blasted to get rid of the shine.
