Wonder where the marketing dollars will move to.

Hopefully not pop-up ads and celeb tie-ins with Ed Sheeran and Macklemore.

I belong to a Toyota Tacoma forum where sleeping platforms are discussed routinely, so spamming there would make sense. This is kind of an unusual topic for a watch...

Here's an interesting new motorcyle

The Yamaha "Niken" (two sword, from my martial arts days, eg. Musashi's dual wield) The concept was proven years ago by Piaggio with their MP3 line of scooters, so it's not a new idea, but it is definitely a leap forward in performance. The front is where you want all your traction, for sure. https:...

That’s the thing about Tupperware, Terry, and the Walrus: all three go for a tight seal.

As posted, nope. Take the sale out of it: someguy, somewhere, takes a watch that runs to sumdood who takes it apart; now it doesn’t run. Sounds like it’s on the guy doing the tinkering to me. ETA: you want the problem "disappeared" for you? I mean, you give and you give; might be nice for you to get...

Everyone wants to have an eloquent reason "why" someone does something bad, but in reality the answer is often just that the person is a sick bastard and gets their jollies out of hurting and killing people.
Sadly, I believe you to be correct.

Re: WSJ: Is Time Running Out on the Swiss Watch Industry?

Another factor is that, while the price of Swiss timepieces has rocketed upward, many other status objects have remained more closely tied with the cost of living. That name-brand status watch ticket price will now buy a lot of Harley sportster, custom 1911, classic Les Paul, etc. There are a lot of...
