I’d try a 1/4 lb. I hand grind espresso from whole beans most mornings, because, hipster/snob.
What can I do to facillitate?

Said it before: Cruise is like a 20/80 cross between the literary “Reacher,” and a Keebler cookie elf.mattcantwin wrote: ↑Sat Jan 27, 2024 5:17 pmHe wasn't bad, just tough to see him in that role after reading the books.

Re: New Toyota Tundra 1794 - Saddelback
I hope that truck comes with tinted windows, because the owners will all be driving naked.
I also hope it comes with increased towing capacity; my saddleback messenger bag weighs only slightly less than a Tundra by itself; that interior probably adds some poundage.

Re: Long term car ownership
I’m right at 15 with an ‘08 Highlander, about 136K miles. Honestly, there isn’t anything I want more for typical 4-season NW driving that wouldn’t be solid 5 figures to buy. Sort of the same as with my ‘07 Suzuki motorcyle. I keep thinking I want something newer/cooler, but not at 4-5x the money. I ...

Re: New Longines LLD — 39mm
I like the look and, like many, I love the ND iteration. But the pricing… it’s sort of like going into my favorite craft brewpub post-covid and paying 12 bucks for pint by the time tip is added. I’m pretty sure I’d be happier with a Jomashop Black Friday option on the 42 for the 50 percent savings.

I’ve always disliked Tom Cruise’s persona. That said, I respect the guy’s work ethic *immensely*. I hope I’m still moving that well when I turn 60. Amazing, really.

Re: Shipping nightmare (UPS) and watch alert
Sorry to hear of this. I would be pretty damn frustrated over the situation. I’d take them to small claims, myself. It’s clear that customer service is MIA, there’s not much of a criminal case, and just hoping that it arrives someday is well inside the margins of “wishful thinking.” JMO. Good luck w...

One, I wouldn’t let myself get permanently bolted into a tube in my front yard, let alone pay for it at the bottom of the Atlantic. And two, this:

Running in service done on the M yesterday. Only used 12.5k revs so far, but my word does it go. You just get thrown down the road. I’m going to have to recalibrate my brain and work my way up to using all the revs. I also had a play with the more advanced settings and have got it just about perfec...

Those numbers suck. Fortunately, we all know that there is always another watch to consider.
