Re: Anyone else struggle with Isofrane?

Tried one, can't stand them but not a fan of any rubber straps, I can't wear nato's either, bracelets or mesh is all I use.

Re: Pretty freakin'' impressive...

Bill, if you want to be happy with it make it a point to stay off all watch forums for a month or more. more watches is not better, let that watch become a part of your wrist and don't worry about what may be the newest thing to come along.

Re: Oris pro diver Chrono...experiences?

Sharp looking piece. I think Lexvil had the 3 hand awhile back, but IIRC they're a mere 49mm. I have the Titan Chrono and though 47mm and thick as hell, it wears surprisingly comfy. I did have the PDD, great design and very tough, thick but at least you get a great locking bezel for the trade off. ...

Re: I will never buy another vntage watch...

There are different sorts who buy wrist watches, hoarders {like you see here} and collectors, those who find a reason to like a watch for its history and real collectors who are a combination of both, they can all be nuts but the real collector is the hardest to deal with seeking the highest degree ...

Re: The term ... Tool Watch

It's amusing that non divers spend so much time tossing this term around and the the ones spending so much energy worrying about depth ratings, lume and gigantic domes. Every running watch can be considered a tool watch. Non-divers as compared to what, non-flyers? Pilot & Dive watches are the quint...

Re: Need everyone's opinion, about to pull the trigger.

If they were the same price, I would go for the Tudor. Saving a pile of cash is a plus, that being said I think the Tudor is overpriced by $1500, I know the coax didn't work for me before and the new PO would only last because its so thick that I wouldn't wear it but you like thick so I think you'll...

This is what happens when you try to make an "original" design. I do like the keychain but the watch just proves that some people have why to much money.

The more useful in all situations is the aquagraph, looks good, multi function and no one is likely to rob you for it, put it on a bracelet. Ok I would take the Sub too and probably wear it most of the time.

Re: Interesting video on bullet travel underwater

They were saying the bullet only travels 5ft. So the movie scenes with bullets being shot into water and zipping past the plucky hero are factually wrong ;-) Myth busters did something on bullets fired into water, if I remember correctly they went all the way to .50 BMG and popped a hole in the pool.

Yeah, isn't Starbucks espresso an homage to Italian espresso? :cussing: :banplz:  Judging by how over-roasted the stuff is, I'd say it's more likely a homage to Viking funerals: http://stuartnager.files.wordpress.com/2011/06/viking-funeral.jpg Whatever it is, it ain't espresso. Everything is some sort of variation of something before, or it's very ugly {which my also have prior elements but being ugly I don't want to look}.
