Re: Worst Watch of SIHH 2018?

I've been out all day, so I haven't gone through the majority of SIHH releases yet, but what do you guys think is the worst so far? Of the ones I've seen, this one struck me as particularly offensive. https://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/20180115/35a446cd8a7ba2eaa5c047dcafb5e6eb.jpg Ouch, even I wouldn...

Re: Help needed with potential buyer

Good call, Mark;I would send the watch. I don’t do PayPal and have asked “PayPal friends”to cover me several times - this evening, as a matter of fact... I’m a pretty trusting fellow, though (I have a strong penchant for revenge if slighted, nonetheless). The kid paid F&F to someone he never met. I ...

The 657 rocks and that’s a fair price, although I paid 1350 for mine a few years ago...

Re: Help needed with potential buyer

I wouldn’t sweat it - I’ve ran into all kinds of nut jobs on WUS.. as long as you have the funds in hand, I’d ship the watch. Many have tried to scam me over the years, but none have sent funds; they always try to get you to ship something without ever actually paying.

Dude.. very, very nice... I’ve had two black models and miss them. I’m not usually a fan of blue dials, but Sinn nails it..

We need to have a NoVA GTG at some point so I can get a look at that one up close ;)

Congrats!!

Re: Total WUS Question but here it goes...

Rub Zanax vigorously on your tongue until dissolved. That will cure the problem. The other cure is to go diving (yes I dove over 100 dives with my DJ Thunderbird; my wife’s at about 250 with her president), or have some other fun with your watch on and you’ll forget all about it. Or feed the hungry...

Re: Total WUS Question but here it goes...

I put clear scotch tape on my more expensive pieces (clasp only of course) as I’m hard on my watches and I only “rent” them for a short time anyway. The tape is invisible and actually lasts a couple of weeks. It’s saved me a lot of work when flipping. So.....the rest of us are just buyers of your r...

Re: BLANCPAIN X71

BPFF and the homage/but making it your own are great looks but they have to dive well too. I like my Helson but it’s definitely not the mother ship. The original is the grail of divers, at least IMO. Of course I’m not a big Rolex fan at all. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk This guy was at a meet...

Re: Incoming.....EZM9

I had the EZM-10 with a similar strap - but I didn’t really like the strap; can’t remember why? Looks great on the 9. I wish I had kept the 10.. it was one of those midnight “gotta have a Panerai now” breaks from reality and it was gone in a flash. The Pam I got in the trade lasted about a week lol ...

Very interesting. Accurate info on time at depth, etc, for air diving, (10 min @140’, 20 at 110 - without decompression)..
Thanks for posting!

Boom! Damn that looks great! One of the few PO’s I haven’t tried.. I had the GMT version and although it was nice, it was both a dive watch and gmt; kind of weird, imo. Size is perfect though. Thanks Tom! Pretty cool piece, IMO - really like the case.
