This watch expectation is ruining me on other “value watches” like Seiko, etc... as I expect this will fill that void of the grab-and-go beater completely.
It will

Re: Seiko SBDC063 vs SKX007

Wow the 63 is really really nice. Great size, retro look.

I’m not a big fan of arrow hands except on the planet ocean, but I’m wearing an MM300 right now and I don’t think those hands would look good either?

Re: Talking Watches for Military Watch Fans

I met Moki during a building dedication ceremony for him on Ford Island, Oahu at SDVT1 in 2003, I believe. The building was for the ASDS, a multi-million dollar effort that eventually burned to the ground (the platform, not the building).. I’m sure you could google it.. Anyway, Really good dude! Tha...

For those following along at home Paul is wearing an ARES that doesn’t exist, while some members of his former team are putting the D-1 through it’s paces.

The ARES that Paul has is scheduled to be shown and talked about in just under a year from now. 🤫[emoji631]

Definitely agree on the size - first thing I texted to Matt - looks big in pictures, but wears perfect. I’m over big watches (at least for now lol).

Another great thread - appreciate the read I’ve wanted to try the NF for some time - should pull the trigger already ;) It genuinely has become one of my all-time favorites. This was my third article on the North Flag, and the 2nd and 3rd I just wrote in my spare time because I liked the watch so m...

Re: PO 42mm 8500 Ti

I’ve had two or three of the 8500’s (ss) and at least four of the 2500’s. Although they sport the same name, they are not even close to the same watch, in my opinion... but I digress. The 8500 wears a bit more hockey-puck’ish - especially on bracelet - and the 2500 wears close to the wrist, as you k...

Re: Tudor Black Bay GMT initial impressions

The last link - the one that attaches to the clasp on the 6 o’clock side - looks like it won’t come off, but it it will. Just have to push out the lug pin, remove that last link, and reinstall the pin on the next link. Works like a charm. I didn’t have to do it with a 7” wrist, but I’ve read about ...

BTW - did it ever get on the boat? Lol I do a different things now I thought I remembered you leveraging some old connections to get it a ride a while back. I can still go out any time, but I really got burned out doing that the last couple of years. Glad to be back on land, so to speak.

Pretty bad ass watch, actually. Perfect size and the crown at 10 keeps you from getting snagged when gearing up. Good stuff
