Looks good!

My wife has taken over ownership of mine.

I barely got to wear it myself, but to be honest, it looks pretty badass on her too.
Yeah it’s a great size - very comfy

Tockr today, really digging this dial with the cut out/recessed minute markers and high raised polished hour markers. Re: 2019 Aquadive model 50

My OCD is kicking in. I'm not sure why they did it but if you look at the inner scale the numbers 20 and 25 are following the pattern but 35 and 40 are the other way around. If you turn 35 and 40 around to be "the right way up" then would you not have 20 and 25 turned around too? It just looks off ...

Wow - I like that, surprisingly; especially the khaki dial with dark strap

I concur the white date wheel kinda sux, but it may not be so bad in IRL

THANKS Tom

Re: Zelos Horizons GMT Review

lol that's a lot of words and pictures.

This reminds me of 25 page papers in grad school; not fond memories.

Cool watch although they will eventually sell for 400 bones used and that's a very competitive market for micros and bad a$$ seikos..

Re: Suggestions for online Rolex sport watch dealers (gray)

I've bought from DavidSW several times - actually met him in Orlando at a Cracker Barrel with his family in tow :) ... Really nice guy. This was before he went 'big time' and I've seen his prices increase considerably since the old days. Also, Master Wu has been able to find me incredible deals over...

Re: Omega Service question

Jan at Nesbit just emailed me. They can do everything including crystal replacement for less than 1K USD and half the turnaround time. Omega doesn't service the 861 in the states any longer hence the higher cost (but $500?!). So clearly I am sending her to Nesbit. I feel like I owe you guys a beer!...

Paul and his “burners” 😆
ha - I wish I could "burn" my gov issued phone. I once dropped my blackberry on a submarine and it fell two decks and landed on a steel grate. I was initially thrilled because I assumed it had exploded.. no such luck. Not even a scratch :raised:

Re: Introduction & Advice needed

As Paul states, definitely take a "quality over quantity" approach if you can. That said, you can certainly find good quality from respected manufacturers at the more affordable end of the spectrum, especially if you buy used from flippers like Paul  Modestly priced watches that I really enjoy...

hmmm I actually like skeleton hands.. I've had a few 2254's and I think it's a great piece (although not at the current ridiculous selling prices) but I'm sooo tired of sword hands.. I have an SmpC right now and although it's not a forum favorite by any means, it's pretty bad ass in every respect - ...

Re: Diving....

Lol a bit ridiculous, actually

A helium escape valve is actually only required for saturation diving, during decompression in a chamber but we’re missing the main point which is 10,000 feet is way overkill. Still cool tho :)
