Blue no date
Are you sure you ordered a Blue no date version? I haven't shipped any of those out yet, other than DEMO Dave's. Perhaps I have your order incorrect in my master file.

Re: Thoughts on Vacheron Constantin Overseas?

Cockeyed date window ruins an otherwise lovely watch. Put the date window at 3 or 6 and you have a winner.

Re: Upcoming Karlskrona Midnattssol 300m Diver

My delivery roll out began on Wednesday. It will take me 10-14 days to ship out all watches and I will send a confirmation email to each owner once their watch has been posted.

Whomever thought of that idea to do an EZM inspired field watch was a smart guy with an eye for design. :shifty:  I typically give my wife the credit for anything remotely "correct" that I do but... she actually doesn't care for this watch. She's a dive watch only kinda girl. I’m not your wife...

Whatever happened to the Truedd?

These other watches leap-frogged it in priority. I still want to do the Treudd but it's on the back burner for now.

Re: Karlskrona Artillerist Basic Field Watch - Prototype update

I may consider adding another mm to the crown size. The hands are set though.
Drilled lug holes will be happening.

I feel 41mm is the absolute sweet spot for a field watch like this.

Here are a few quick and (very) dirty pics. I will be having more professional shots taken over the next couple of weeks and will be putting the watch through the paces. Ohh and BTW, when you purchase the Artillerist, you get a Graham Combat free. ;) https://i.imgur.com/6wylSn8.jpg https://i.imgur.c...

Hi all,
Just a quick update on the Artillerist. I hope to have the prototype in my hands for testing in a couple weeks. I will share pictures here.

Best,

Re: How do you guys delineate between an "Homage" vs. Copy/Ripoff?

It might help to define some words to use in the discussion. Here from the Oxford Dictionary: Original: Created personally by a particular artist, writer, musician, etc.; not a copy. Copy: A thing made to be similar or identical to another. Homage: Special honor or respect shown publicly. Replica: ...

Re: How do you guys delineate between an "Homage" vs. Copy/Ripoff?

Good stuff gents. Personally, I am fine with an homage provided it has some unique styling characteristic if it is an homage to a current model. If it is one to a vintage model, I can understand no unique features. I have never bought one and more than likely wouldn't. Just my personal preference. T...

How do you guys delineate between an "Homage" vs. Copy/Ripoff?

Recently, I have found myself getting angry when seeing all of the various Seiko MM300 copies coming out of the woodwork. Something about that specific iconic watch has just struck a nerve with me. That being said, there have been plenty of homage watches that I have really liked. The Borealis Seama...
