Not bad at all but at $6500=7500 USD too pricey for that SW300...

Nice looking watch. Obscene, bordering on criminal price though. :snooty:

Where did you find it ?
Found it on eBay. Watch shop out of Portugal, reputable. Told the guy he was asking too much for it. He took $200 off and sold it to me through his shop instead.

How about a model?
Is it titanium?

I really like that. If it’s 40mm and 20mm lugs that’s my ideal watch.

Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Fortis 610.22.158

It is actually sand blasted SS

Case size is 39mm
Case thickness is 12mm
Lug width 20mm

I found one. I finally found one.

Been looking for one of these for quite a while now and finally, I found one. Absolutely love this stunning blue dial and simple, legible dial design. The orange seconds hand is a perfect compliment as well. It is missing bezel lume pip so it will go off to Duarte for a bit of TLC and clean up. Many...

I see it as an ugly lightning logo, and the SS didn’t even cross my mind until yo said something. It’s not “close” as you say but you can make the leap if you stretch.
This. ^
And my mother and grandparents escaped a concentration camp so I’m sensitive as well. But not to that case back.

I don't know when WWII pilot's watches became dress watches, but nice Stowa.

Re: This or That?

My Stowa has the blue hands and the lighting needs to be perfect to see the blue. It's nice during those blue moments. In the photo, the Archimede blue hands look very pronounced. I don't believe that it stands out like a saxophonist at a Disturbed concert... Go blue! I dig their pilot strap as wel...

Re: This or That? (Update and plug) or... THIS?

After further review and consideration, I decided to pony up the extra $$$ for the Stowa 40mm version of this style watch. I didn't care for their old logo and now that they have the new one, I revisited it. The 40mm size is perfect for me and I prefer the traditional onion crown to the diamond one....

Re: This or That?

Blue. Have you thought about the Stowa Pilot? The blue hands look just right and therefore suit it well. I have have an Archimede and while I love the watch, I always thought the blue hands were too shiny, Stowa seems to have more depth. https://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/20181115/1587bbdf437100a6b97...

Black

I had a pilot with blued hands and tried to like it, without success.
That’s my fear as well, Matt. I really like the look of them on the black dial but wondering if I might tire of them after a bit. I usually play it conservative and was trying to get a little outside that box.

This or That? (Update and plug) or... THIS?

I've decided I need an Archimede Pilot in my collection. So, I am waffling back and forth between the classic black hands and the heat blued steel hands.

Which do you prefer?
