Nice looking watch! Paul is a good guy and produces solid watches for the money.

Re: NYT article on Nomos: We make watches for people who can read and write

Must admit, this brand is growing on me. At first I thought all of their offerings were just too similar but I have come to appreciate their styling. I'd like to find that gorgeous blue dial with a date though. Do they make that?

Re: Blurb from Nodus on Micro brands

The Micro sector is evolving and "practicing" new business models at an alarming rate. Companies draw up their business plan based on economic capability and capacity and execute to the best of their ability. It just amazes me how many are popping up every week. Great for me as a consumer, tough as ...

Grattis Sverige!!! On to the World Cup.

Heart in my throat for the last 30 minutes or so but great team defending and resolve in knocking mighty Italy out of the WC for the first time since 1958.

I kind of like the lume dial.
+1

I normally don't like lume dials but this one isn't bad. I think the hour and minute hand size need to be differentiated more though.

I can’t resist a good circle jerk, so... While JP can summon his inner-Eeyore pretty easily, in this situation he’s got a good point. Todd; you know I’ve provided you with plenty of input in the past, both in the threads and via PM’s when you’ve had questions. You probably didn’t notice that I stop...

Re: Blurb from Nodus on Micro brands

Tough shit. You have a persecution complex and you come off like a whiny bitch. Just know, as I and many others do, that there's a constant conversation behind the curtain about getting rid of you. You're a freeloader and Wu lets it happen. It's his call. The least you can do is own it. DWC provide...

Re: What Microbrand are you wearing today ?

Wearing the IW-ONE today. Inexpensive but I love this one. It came on a fairly nice quality brown leather strap but I switched it over to a black Nato. http://i50.photobucket.com/albums/f320/DEMO842/IW-ONE/IW-One_Logo_zpszcqez1hw.jpg~original http://i50.photobucket.com/albums/f320/DEMO842/IW-ONE/IW...

Re: Blurb from Nodus on Micro brands

Such a sweetheart, JP. Sorry you have such angst towards me. I have NEVER done anything but compliment the good folks here for helping me with input on my designs. I've also donated to Make a Wish numerous times mentioning DWC and in interviews I've done. I am very appreciative to DWC . W...

Re: Blurb from Nodus on Micro brands

Never understood why Todd keeps getting banned, but yet Chinese clones like Sharkey, Merkur, and Ouroboros have several threads going about the MM300 and Tuna copy ripoffs. Doubt they are paying the WUS ad fee. That's easy, Dave... because I told Ernie I would never pay him $10K+ to be a sponsor. W...

Wu should start charging too, but just the OP. DWC seems to be his primary design vehicle - why should Wu fund that?

Blurb from Nodus on Micro brands

Just saw and figured I'd share. Nothing earth shattering but might be interesting to some of you. I can say that one of the most time consuming aspects for a small player like me is the lack of data. The amount of time I spend on marketing is enormous. I really rely on grass roots (dirt roots, actua...
