Re: New Seiko Watch (identifying watch)

There are many models that have the “Air Diver’s 200m” on the back, so pictures are essential. Also, folks around here really appreciate it when new folks start with a post to introduce themselves.

I’ve had this one for ages. Got it to Jack for service and lume work, and it’s still going strong.

Great pickup! I would consider resume if the dial can be cleaned up, otherwise I would leave it as it is. Lots or character there. If you’re lucky maybe the dial is actually in good shape and it’s the crystal that makes it look milky.

Re: Fishy stuff on Reddit

I always wondered about Exceloman, I always look at all his Omega’s and have been close to buying, so glad I never did. I hate all these idiots! I bought one years back. A quartz bond SMP. I’m pretty sure it was all on the up and up. I’ve had the battery replaced twice at my local AD, and they neve...

Great day hiking around Arches National Park.
Great park. Make sure you also check Canyonlands and Goblin Valley.

Checking out Matt’s GMT today. It really sets itself apart from the SPB187 more than I expected ( crown, bezel and crystal ). I really appreciate Matt letting folks try it out. It might be my next purchase.

Re: Advise In Using The Auxillary Option In The Jeep's OEM Radio

If only you could still buy an iPod. Apple dropped those.

Your best bet is to shop for a decent MP3 player. Amazon has loads of options. I still run my iPod Classic, so I don’t know the best MP3 options today.

Happy hunting!

Re: Long term car ownership

My Acura TL is now 17 years old, with 190k miles. I’m dreading the day I have to replace it. How do you have a vehicle 17 years and only 190K miles? I’d be like 350K Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk All the family trips are in the Toyota Sienna, also an ‘06. That one has 290k. My Acura is pretty ...

Nice pic! I hadn’t noticed the difference in the seconds hands until this side-by-side comparison. It looks like I got my order for the quartz version in just in time; sold out now.

Re: H.G.P Monnin Diver

Mine just landed. Extremely impressed and clearly the best under $500 watch I’ve owned. They could charge $750 and sell these all day long IMO. Looks every bit as nice as in Ripper’s pics. Having two CWC I can honestly say it’s very close. No serial numbers on the Mecaquartz model, but smooth crown...
