The new (to me) hotness. Luckily it survived a substandard packing job by the eBay seller.

Re: Seaforth preorders tomorrow 1/18

I really enjoyed the one I had, but two things got me to flip it. The finishing on the bezel, and the noisy movement. I think those both got addressed in this version. Could be a real winner. Just got my pair yesterday and unfortunately the movt noise has not been resolved. These are very noisy. No...

2006 Toyota Matrix. I got one that survived my son, and almost survived my daughter. It's only downfall was handling in the snow without snow tires.

Re: Grab 'n Go 2.0

Awesome! I've got one myself, also on NATO. Great grab-n-go, and also my favorite travel watch because of the independent hour hand. I had no idea it had this function, or how to access it. I asked secretly, but will share the the answer. Pull the crown out to the first position, and you are...

Nice. I hope to see one of those crystals in person some day. How proud does it stand from the bezel?

Re: Timex's Navi Harbor and Ocean watches

Do these have a screw-down crown, or rotating bezel? I'm guessing not at this price, but pretty nice looking anyway. Couldn't find any info on that from the site Mike, but they are water resistant to 100 meters so guess they are. Or should be. ..Cant be sure about the bezel rotating thou...

I love quartz these days. Thanks Tom it is a good looking watch.
I hear you. Seems like some folks gotta hate on them. As long as the build quality is there, I'm good.

Has anyone done a white dial Mil Spec watch? Acrylic or sapphire done and white aluminum insert.

This would be something different and unique, IMO.

Looks good otherwise, but hoping the lug hole position be closer towards the case.
^^^ Bamford has your white dial.

Re: Karlskrona Hemlig Mil Series Dive Watch

Yes, no date versions as well. The insert is aluminum. I like them both. A matte ceramic insert would make it perfect. While I certainly understand the allure of the ceramic insert, I want to keep the design specs more inline with the original style. Appreciate your input though! I'm fai...

Re: Physical Oceanography/Applied Physics

I’ll start ‘officially’ posting some stuff up in a few weeks. My intent is to make certain that everything is already well into t&e before I start communicating about the product specs and particulars. Everything is in place, just wanting to wring it out more before bringing it out. When I hand you...

How do you know for certain that a completed watch doesn't suffer water ingress during the test?
