Re: New ZRC 1964 Spirit models

I’m wearing one of mine right now(satin finish) to my graduation. I'm hoping that they come out with a white dial version. They said it might happen.

Radium Girls

Interesting and sad times in dial painting using Radium. https://www.science101.com/radium-girls-americas-darkest-secret-lost-history/?utm_source=faok&utm_medium=J_FB_S101_US_RadiumGirls_D1C1_1865_andios_open2_v1_1605&utm_content=feed&utm_term=23843422951670651_23843422955050651_S101_US_ALL_18-65_M_...

Re: Crepas El Buzo - The Diver

Crepas is a brand that I keep watching as new watches come out. I have always thought they were interesting. This one fits right in. The one thing this one has that I don't like well is that the entire dial, bezel, hands etc are way too busy for me visually. I like a more quiet look. But I think th...

Re: The U1 Professional

Nice looking watch as most of the Sinn line is. They have some unusual ways to maintain the watch internally. Inert gas is loaded inside the watch and also they use cooper sulphate capsules inside many of their watches. The only problem is when they do that the watch has to go back to Germany to be...

Re: Crepas Engelsfisch On Kickstarter

I had the Anko and mine didn’t have any alignment issues. The quality was excellent, but knowing the movement spacer issue, I dumped it before I wore it. This one looks badass. People want the Propeller logo on the crown and Crepas decided to incorporate it in the final watch. For me, keepin...

Re: Scurfa Diver One D1-500 ND713RD (translation black/gold diver)

I’m wanting to like these Surfa Divers since they’ve been getting a lot of love for the past years. I just don’t see the appeal. They look ordinary to me. Is it their wearability factor? Thin, light weight with short L2L?

It’s beautiful. This got a lot of people talking about doxa so it worked, even if they don’t sell one. Pure genius marketing.

Re: Micro brand can source cheap damascus casing now

That’s pretty sheisty or maybe their contract has expired and now it’s all for grabs. Don, do you actually know first hand? These are not microbrands. They are a factory that has branded watches they make. Can we say rip off? One is a straight Halios Puck copy and the other is an Oris 65 ripoff. Sen...

Damn, the only watches from Basel that sing to me. I’m a fan. I only wish the chrono was also in SS. Might just grab the three-hander.
