Re: Rick Marei has officially left Doxa

I had a feeling this was coming. Rick wasnt on the Doxa stand much at baselworld. He spent a lot of time in other parts of the show with other watch brands.

I wish him all the best in the future too. He was a big help to me starting out.

Re: 2019 Aquadive model 50

My OCD is kicking in. I'm not sure why they did it but if you look at the inner scale the numbers 20 and 25 are following the pattern but 35 and 40 are the other way around. If you turn 35 and 40 around to be "the right way up" then would you not have 20 and 25 turned around too? It just looks off t...

Re: Breitling Is Leaving Baselworld

Doesn't surprise me at all. There will be more leaving. The show was tiny this year compared to last year which was half the size of the year before. But the entrance charge has never changed, 60 Swiss Francs / day. I don't think I'll be going next year. The cost for exhibitors is massive, Swatch we...

Re: LVMH donating 200 million Euro to Notre Dame

I did find it amusing that only a short time after Selma's hubby donated €100m that Arnault donated €200m

I'm guessing there is an ongoing dick measuring competition between these two. Although I think Pinault wins it by marrying Selma. [emoji16]

Basel 2019, new SAS - 1919 Anniversary model.

Hi Guys, as some of you know it's our 10th anniversary this year it is also the 100th anniversary of the first transatlantic flight by Alcock and Brown that landed on the west coast of Ireland. So to tie it all together we are releasing a limited edition of 10 pieces of our AIR series. There are two...

Re: The state of the Micro watch industry

..... This tells me that people want some good micros to more up to the Steinhart level, but that takes management, vision of the future, which don’t come cheap or from a group of enthusiasts that don’t see enough profits to keep their families happy as it’s usually a full time plus job as manageme...

That bright orange with white does not work. It looks like something that fell of a roadside rescue truck. The other one is nice though.
