The Boys was surprisingly good. Will definitely watch Season 2. Found Banshee to be barely a meh...poor man's Justified.

Re: Jason Heaton’s Got a New Blog

Good comments Jason. IMO most dive watch reviews are lame. If a car reviewer commented about how comfortable a car's seats were, how good looking the car was, that the engine turned over, sounded good, and seemed to run well when the key was turned...but hadn't driven it? That is what many dive watc...

That watch is an absolute stunner. Just a fantastic dial and such well done GMT complication.
Yes. The GMT implementation on that GS is as good as I have ever seen.

Have a look at the Yokohama G015 Geolander. It may work better on your Suzuki as the G015 is much lighter.
Yeah, will do. Was also considering Bridgestone Desert Duellers. Will add Falken to the list too

Re: 2021 Ford Bronco Release - 7/13

Now that ‘73 Jeep is an off road vehicle. No one (or maybe just the incredibly wealthy or incredibly stupid) is taking a $50K plus vehicle off road to get all trail rashed. I love the look of these new Broncos but I am worried about the longevity of the engines. Small displacement engines with turb...

Re: Solar Arnie pushers

hi, and thanks for the add. I just bought the solar arnie and are looking for some info on the pushers. I realise that to achieve water resistance at 200m the pushers have to be screwed in. My question is: if I have the pushers screwed out in the functioning position are they watertight? Can I safe...

I never understood people putting oversized muddies on cars that never go off-road. They are noisy, increase fuel use, slow down your acceleration and increase your braking distance. People are mad.

Re: 2021 Ford Bronco Release - 7/13

I like a manulal but auto is better for off-roading and for heavy traffic on-road. I'm keen on that base model to mod as needed as the first one pictured looks too much like a mall tractor. I still worry about putting 35's on an IFS vehicle and doing anything testing in it. I think 35’s on IFS can ...

Re: 2021 Ford Bronco Release - 7/13

Not sure 35s on an IFS vehicle is a great idea. Need to carry several spare control arms/CV joints for harder off-road use The vast majority of these, like Wranglers, Raptors, 4Runners, RAM Powerwagons and AEV Prospectors will never even see gravel. For all but the few who actually use them, the st...

They can't sell Jeeps in Oz because of its reputation for poor reliability. The bigger issue with the Wrangler is it fails front corner impact tests (reproducing the most common accident). The Wrangler is the only one that rolled in the test - and it did it every time. Just flat out dangerous. I lin...

I agree, but they’d probably have a difficult time bringing something that primitive to market these days with the incredibly strict rules in Europe. Perhaps. That said, Suzuki has done a great job on the new Jimny, so its possible. https://www.carscoops.com/wp-content/uploads/2018/09/e553a33c-2019...

The Defender looks much better in the metal than the initial images that were released.
To me it feels closer to an iteration of the Discovery than to the Defender.

Re: New G Shock Frogman GWF-A1000 Full Analog Display, Bluetooth

I have wished for an analog Frogman as a back-up dive timer for a long time, as Casio digital readouts are too small. They finally do it and then put dual-time, what looks like a 24hr indicator, and 'tide' sub-dials on it? Surely elapsed dive time and max depth are just a little more relevant in a d...
