Re: What’s wrong with these pics?

Lol I emailed the guy and recommended he take better pics because nobody is going to give him multiple thousands of dollars for that watch with no box/papers based on those pics - he basically told me I didn’t know what I was talking about. Maybe he’s right... He's a cock holster, I'm bout to get m...

On the upside there's only 300 of each being made. Hopefully they'll see the light and make something a little smaller.

Re: ANZAC Day

Thanks James, a very sedate day for me. Started with a paddle, followed by a gym session. Got into the city and caught up with the brothers at around 13.00. I was all wrapped up and heading home before 17.00. I generally get pretty messy on Anzac Day. I’ve been putting in a lot of training for the o...

Re: Basel Releases 2018

Really like the two GMT's from Rolex and Tudor. It will be interesting to see post their release to dealers how available these will be. Unless Rolex trickle feed these to the dealers, hopefully getting a new GMT shouldn't to too problematic further on down the track, there always seems to be a good...

Re: Russell Crowe Watch Auction

A few nice pieces, but generally too dressy for my taste. Feels a bit like PR to me rather than a genuinely necessary cash raising exercise. Agree Andy, talk about talking it up. Interesting to see what the 22SAS Breitling goes for. These were made only for members of this unit at a specific time. ...

Re: New family car

Very belated congrats mate, you still have a Saab in the stable? Still got ours, Kim just got a new company car so I'm driving the old 93t. Still a great car and I keep it well serviced and cleaned so it looks pretty good for a 10 years old car. I still drive my Saab wagon and we still have our wif...

Rootbeer for the past few days.
I like this dial much better than the nipple dial - heck, I just love this watch
Thanks Mike, yep it's a pretty cool watch. Haven't worn it for ages. Mostly wear Nick's Fenix 5X that I received later last year. J

Re: AP as Used Resellers

So were the "dark side". Sure it will the case of a car dealer, you'll get screwed on the way in and on the way out.

But going by Pat's experience at least you are getting some assurance if something goes wrong in the warranty period there will be coverage.

Did I miss the full price anywhere? Can’t find it Unfortunately, Seiko hasn't announced US pricing yet. We're expecting them to be around $500 USD . Damn I thought they'd be 250, which is basically what the street price will be after the dust settles. I'm done buying turtles at full price like I di...

So now there’s no way I’m telling you guys that I’m hunting for a blacked out one as well, because that would look badass on one of Terry’s 24mm blacked out NATOs. When that shows up I’m keeping it to myself. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk Pro And that's how you do it... I want to roll like Gra...

Re: New 43mm Sea Dweller out...

I have admittedly not tried on an SD43 yet (mostly because Rolex seems incapable of getting merchandise in their AD's), but as an 80/20 "big wrist/size queen", I'm interested. Although, this is one watch where none of the pictures look all that good to me. It looks kind of goofy. I don't know why t...
