Re: "New" strap for the Speedypro

Well, I sold the distressed rally strap because I found one in much better condition with an Omega deployment clasp, rather than the aftermarket one. This one cost a lot more than the well worn strap, but considerably less than a brand new rig. These curved end rally straps don't seem to show up ver...

Re: Skydweller On Watch Winder

He said he has tried every setting. I thought maybe it was too heavy for the winder, but it has no problem with either of his DSSDs. Is the power reserve of the Skydweller longer than other Rolex? Heavier spring, maybe? . By every setting, I assume he's tried every direction, too, right? My Aquadiv...

Although I don't understand it, spoken German is very soothing. Contrary to popular belief, German is considered a romance language, but only if you're into necrophilia.

I'm planning to replace the windows in my condo, so I won't be in on this deal. Already own a 300 re-issue and I'm cool with that.

Re: Doxa yellow is back

So how is it a 300 model but it specs out to a 1200T? It's a 300T, not a 300, which has dimensions very similar to the modern 1200T. This thing is sweet, but I hope they put a domed crystal on it. Specs state that it has a slightly domed crystal, so it won't be high domed like the 300 re-issue. ETA...

Re: I was hacked on Omega Forums and am now banned - anyone a member there that can get in touch with a mod?

How did you get hacked? I don't know but I was lazy and had 1 password for several forums - but not anymore  Just trying to make sure not to get caught the same way :salute: It usually happens after someone gets a PM with a phony link that in an attempt to get the password. If the same passw...

Mike, I did a mod alert on the post you made on WUS. You should post post a warning in the feedback forum, too, advising everyone to disregard any messages about things that are being sold under your account. Hopefully, you've already changed your log in there and on other forums.

If I recall, this isn't the first time this has happened to you. You need to be careful about (a) following links sent to you n PMs and (b) don't use the same password for different forums. I've seen this kind of shitty scam attempted on DWC, too. Hope you can get on top of it.

Re: My first CPAP machine in the house.

I tried to use a CPAP for my apnea twice. I never became comfortable with the mask. I opted for an oral appliance instead; from a dentist that specialized in the devices. It also takes some getting used to, but drastically reduced snoring issues and I prefer it to the CPAP alternative. Oh, I think ...

Re: My first CPAP machine in the house.

Benn using CPAP since 1996 and on my third machine, so I'm an old pro. I tried the nasal pillows, but could never get used to the thing crammed up my nostrils. Used a conventional nasal mask until a year and a half ago, when I switched to the Respironics Dreamwear. It resembles the pillows device, b...

Orient "Baby Saturation Diver"

I noticed a thread about this on WUS. Not sure if its design is robust enough to be considered akin to the Saturation Diver, but it does have the same 40N5A movement and has a sapphire crystal. While not exactly small, the dimensions suggest that it is significantly more svelte than the OSD 300. The...

Re: Help needed with potential buyer

Venmo might be a good option. He gave me his name, but it's popping up everywhere. So if I need it, the license angle might be good. It's hard to flip a 24-HR watch, even a Glycine. Ugh. Here are some of the questions. And yes, I *know*. These are weird. Enjoy. "I’d appreciate if you could answer a...

Hm great ideas. The bank wire thing makes me nervous. Wouldn’t that give him access to my banking info? I’m such a noob right now. lol life before PayPal For a wire payment, I've used a bank account with an online bank that has no minimum balance, no fees, and a very small balance. You can also do ...
