Re: Help needed with potential buyer

Guy sounds like a real nutbar. I wouldn't walk away from this deal, I'd run like hell.

Re: Help needed with potential buyer

Venmo might be a good option. He gave me his name, but it's popping up everywhere. So if I need it, the license angle might be good. It's hard to flip a 24-HR watch, even a Glycine. Ugh. Here are some of the questions. And yes, I *know*. These are weird. Enjoy. "I’d appreciate if you could answer a...

Re: Help needed with potential buyer

Hm great ideas. The bank wire thing makes me nervous. Wouldn’t that give him access to my banking info? I’m such a noob right now. lol life before PayPal For a wire payment, I've used a bank account with an online bank that has no minimum balance, no fees, and a very small balance. You can also do ...

Think of the change in technology of cars over the years and with the advent of electric and self driving cars, the possibilities are staggering. And yet, the attraction to the old school classics persists.

Re: Buying used SMP Question

If you do a search on Watchrecon for exelonman, a member of several forums, you'll see what he currently has for sale. He sells a variety of pre-owned watches, but Omega SMPs are one of his strong areas. He has a good reputation and his prices are fair. Some of the watches he sells are serviced by a...

Re: Selling fake branded watch straps is OK?

I've encountered Strapfreak on WF and I think he's a real douchenozzle. I'd be more than a little surprised if he was using authentic branded material to make his straps.

Re: Pssst....it’s coming...

BTW, someone (who's also a member here) was selling his Black Lung 300 on WUS and I couldn't help noticing the BC 295 he had on the watch. At first glance, it looks like fitted ends, but it isn't. I was so impressed by the way it suited the watch, I ordered one for my 300 Professional. http://upload...

Wow, that's nuts. I wonder what happens to the value of these if Doxa releases more logo ed variations of the 300.

Bit of an overreach? I know some of these are going for a premium, but someone just posted one on WUS for four grand net.

Re: New WiFi router

The setup you bought probably costs less than renting a modem from Comcast for a year. Just be sure they don't try to charge you rental for a modem you don't have, like they did with me.

Just in, Borealis Estoril

This is the first microbrand I've owned in quite a while, but it seemed like such a neat little knock around watch, I couldn't resist. The price was a lot less than others I've seen for sale and it doesn't have the "DW" on the dial the way the new forum LE version does. I wasn't fussy about date/no ...

Borealis Estoril DWF Special Edition

I haven't seen any mention of this on DWC, so in case anyone's interested, Borealis is re-releasing the Estoril, this time a pre-order of a special edition for the Dive Watch Facebook group. This one comes with a bracelet and has numerous varients. I'm not particularly high on micro-brands these day...
