Re: Water marks on wall

Painted my bathroom six years ago with Behr latex primer. No water marks, but it does nothing for the bathtub ring.

Re: Uncle Seiko Tropic Strap Question?

I have one of the Uncle Seiko tropic straps. On the plus side, it has plenty of length for my 7.75" wrist, but it's fairly fairly thick and stiff. I also have a NOS tropic style that I picked up a few years ago on fleabay for $15.00. Not as much length as the Uncle Seiko, but enough to tuck some int...

Re: Has anyone seen Billwilson?

Man this all sucks. This place is so squeaky clean for deals that it sucks when some ballsack has to go and screw it up. You gotta use some common sense, not assume everyone is trustworthy, even on DWC. All I know is, it would take something pretty dire for me not to follow through on a commitment,...

Re: Omega Service question

Does anyone know if omega or Nesbit can source a new bracelet for my 2254 if I get it serviced through them? The speedy style? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk Omega still sells the clasps and links, so I'd think full bracelets are still sold by them. I don't think they'd require service to order...

It’s going to bring corduroys back into style. Rub it on your pants to charge it up!
You could also shuffle your Hush Puppies in shag carpeting.

Re: Redesigned Precista PRS-3?

I owned a PRS-3 years ago, bought pre-owned. The original lume probably wasn't much to write home about, because the one I got had been relumed by Kent Parks. I believe it has always had a 42mm case.

Re: New Arrival...it's a whopper

A JSAR was the only watch I ever bought with the intention of flipping it for a quick profit. Some years ago, Amazon had a killer deal on a JSAR for $349 and and I made an easy few hundred on it. If I'd been really greedy, I would've bought more than one. https://uniim1.shutterfly.com/ng/services/me...

Oh well, an homage sneaks in.

I've gone for a while without owning a microbrand/homage, but this one was irresistable. Just received it from a DWCer and put it on an Uncle Seiko tropic. https://live.staticflickr.com/7822/46827767564_f21e93c143_b.jpg https://live.staticflickr.com/7828/32608940207_eccca96508_b.jpg Happened to have...

Re: Servicing Info

As far as checking on service history, I contacted the local boutique and gave them the serial number of a Planet Ocean I purchased. They called Omega to find out the last time it was serviced by them. As others have said, if it's not hacking properly, it's a good reason to get service done.

Re: Wine Storage

It's been quite a while since I shopped for a wine cabinet, so I'm not too current on what's available, but I can tell you that a cabinet, not a built in cellar, is the way to go. If you ever sell the house, you won't be able to take a walk in with you. A walk in wine cellar or a walk in humidor is ...

This Chromebook has a lot of capabilities for the money, including touchscreen and Google Play Store apps. 4 gigs of ram is plenty of speed for a chromebook. If you don't have wi-fi available, use your phone as a hotspot. https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B07GM2J11Q/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_asin_title_o01_s0...

I see he has another Lum-Tec for sale on WUS. You may want to voice your issues about him on the WUS feedback forum. Good luck.
