Re: A.F.0210. one piece nato

Not many single pass canvas options out there. What I found had round Zulu rings and the dreaded second loop. Haveston has a nice selection of canvas single pass. They're a little thicker and not as soft as the A.F.0210., but does have a floating second keeper and offers hardware in polished, brush...

I really like this strap. Wonder if they do black hardware

I dunno, but I guess you could ask him. The brass hardware will probably darken as it tarnishes.

A.F.0210. one piece nato

Got the A.F.0210. strap yesterday from Rob Frasier. It's an an authentic reproduction of a WWII canvas strap right down to the brass hardware. I was surprised not to see the canvas keeper I'd seen in photos and thought it may have been left out. Also, at 260mm w/o the buckle it was 10mm shorter than...

Borealis tropic strap

Just received mine, which arrived nearly three weeks after being shipped. For some reason, the registered package would only track in Portugal, so I had no idea when it would show up. Never having worn a Synchron Tropic or a Meraud, I can't compare the Borealis version to them, but it is very supple...

Re: Easiest and cheapest way for new iphone (6 or greater)

I'm happy not to to be tied to expensive Apple stuff. These electronic gizmos all wear out eventually and with the battery of my OG Pixel holding less of a charge as time goes on, I see a new phone in the near future. Fortunately, a brand new Pixel 3a can be found for around $325. I love having a ph...

Re: PO clasp upgrade

Nice upgrade. I did the same to my Seamaster 300. Makes the watch even more comfortable Sent from my SM-G950F using Tapatalk I didn't really find the OEM clasp uncomfortable or lacking good fitment, but decided on the upgrade because the original clasp failed to stay closed because the diver extens...

Re: Anyone tried DeRosa elastic straps?

Cheapest Nato has an elastic single pass through strap. The main downside I can see is a cheap, flimsy buckle, but they're $5.95 and they have a large variety to choose from. Don't care for the elastic parachute straps because you have to remove the spring bars to put it on or take it off and adjust...

Re: Hamilton acrylic crystal?

I PMed the WUS member yesterday about the source of the crystal, but no answer. May be top secret. Thank you! I hope he responds.... I actually tried to log in to WUS thinking my ban would disappear... nope. Then I tried to sign up using my work email. And I’ve been banned with that email as well. ...

How soft / flexible are the single pass through straps from Haveston?
Both are thin and flexible and can slip in without removing the spring bars, even on the Glycine, which has shorter lugs than the Hammy. The leather one is incredibly soft. They have one floating keeper.

Bunch o' new straps

I recently did a fire sale on straps I don't wear and set out to find some that would suit my needs. The assortment consists of two piece straps and single pass throughs from several vendors Steveo Para Canvas (had my own buckle) for a little funkiness. Pretty stiff when it arrived, but breaking in ...

I've ordered several things to try from cheapestnatostraps, including this $10 velcro strap, which comes in different colors in canvas or suede. Once it arrives, I'll be happy to give my impressions. https://cdn.shopify.com/s/files/1/0153/3399/products/NASA_canvas_watch_band_cotton_strap_with_velcro...
