Flying down to Dacula, Georgia today to help my son move; returning next Friday.

Looks like every day will be in the 90's; sucks.
Take it easy in that heat and humidity.

Makes me wonder if years from now future generations will think the same about our devices.
Yep. With WiFi/LTE/soon 5G, we're bathing in a sea of microwave and millimeter wave electromagnetic radiation. Sure, it's non-ionizing and low-power, but still... Probably harmless, but...

The RWB stuff... Not sure if I love it or hate it.
I'm not into it. That said, it definitely takes guts to let someone take a Sawzall to your 911. :o

Re: Car Spotting

Saw a Ferrari 308 on the road yesterday, but couldn't get a picture. It did put the Magnum PI theme song in my head for the rest of the day, though. I'm pretty sure the guy who owns it has had it for years. I see it around town every so often. I now have Higgins' voice in my head. "Magnum!!!!!!" :l...

Cool RS America.
That definitely qualifies as rare!

I love air-cooled 911s. Never owned one, and probably never will. Too "dear" as my grandmother would say.

Re: Car Spotting

Great idea for a thread! Nothing rare, but hopefully somewhat interesting. VW spotted somewhere outside of Fethiye, Turkey: https://i.imgur.com/d3HuML1.jpg FY33 Infiniti Q45 (a.k.a. Nissan Cima). I rarely see these in the Northeast, and this one was in good shape. Spotted in a Market Basket parking ...

These Turdles are great. They're the next best thing to a NOS 6306-7001.

Re: Has anyone seen Billwilson?

Missing appointments, lapsed licenses, and petty larceny all suggest substance abuse issues more than anything else. Maybe (probably?) triggered by the family issue (or maybe the family issue was triggered by the relapse - who knows?). I'm still not sure why someone would use the name of the co-fou...

I wound and set my great grandfather's pocket watch. I don't wear it, but instead use it as a desk clock when I'm working from home.

It says they’ll do quartz tunas for $154.
I wonder if they swap in a new or rebuilt movement. $154 seems low for the amount of work involved in stripping down, cleaning, inspecting, oiling, and reassembling.

$397.50 to service the 8L35 in Mahwah seems fair for a JDM model. Thanks, T
...as long as they don't balls it up. Has anyone here had an 8L35 serviced by Mahwah? Mine's 10 years old, and while it runs just fine, I should probably have it done at some point.
