Re: Car Spotting

Ferrari 575M Maranello (I think) in the office parking garage. Nice to see that's it's driven.

Re: Rush/Geddy Lee WIS

Probably one of my favorite bands. I got into them when I was just a kid, via MTV videos for the Grace Under Pressure and Power Windows albums. As I got older, I explored their back catalog. What a band. For some reason, I'm not the least bit surprised that Getty is into watches. The drummer...

Saw this in the park across the street from me. Not sure what year; according to the web site, "Lovingly restored and cared for, our 1971 VW Transporter..." and "The Photo Bus Boston is a 1973 VW Transporter!"

Seiko could fuck up a wet dream. All they had to do was release a line of SKXs with the 4R36 movement.

I have a hunch you'd end up with a "distressed" ion-plated surface, which might look cool. I doubt the bead blasting will cleanly remove the ion plating. Go for it!

Basically he thought his opinion matter more than others on a subject. So he got pissed and rolled out. I...

So, what's the over/under on the state of Wyoming opening an investigation on this International Precision business entity? I'd venture INTERNATIONAL PRECISION INC of 9526 VASSAR AVE, CHATSWORTH, CA has absolutely nothing to do with this. They're a company that makes parts for C-130s and P-3s. Rath...

Re: Car Spotting

I totally agree. I’d really like a Subaru WRX STi. It would be perfect for my 3 mile commute - fun to drive, sporty, awd for the winter. Every time I almost buy one, I think back to how pissed I was to find my civic hit and then decide against it. Finding a nice new car hit would probably give me a...

Re: Car Spotting

Lambo SUV, just what you need for the great unwashed outback... Hah. Saw one of these at the beach last week, but didn't take a pic. Looked pretty good, but I'm not sure what the point is if I'm being honest. A Macan S would fill the sporty CUV need for me very well and for a helluva lot less money...

Very nice! How is the timekeeping? Does the crown screw down, or is it true to the original design?
