Hi Graeme
Is the automatic movement a 2824-2 ?
I did not see it mentioned on the website. Also will a
non fixed strap bar models be available?
Thanks for a great new watch!

Really Nice retro!
I especially like that no numbers on the
dial were sliced in half by the sub dials.
I will be looking seriously at this one

Dave:
I own a Kingston , a ceramic bezel Paradive and a
NIB Nassau( that is for sale). All are beautifully made and
IMHO well worth the price.
Good Hunting

Re: Date Window Positioning
I have close to 30 watches in my "stable" and not a single
one has the date at the "4" position.
The dial symmetry is ruined IMHO.
Take for example the new Doxa 3 register chrono-
the date position kills the watch for me!

Pretty cool looking single pusher chrono from Christopher Ward. 43 mm. Hand wound. $3900! I don't know that I've ever seen a single pusher chrono before. http://i68.photobucket.com/albums/i40/tom_robb/C900-Single-Pusher-Chronograph_2-straps.jpg If interested... read more here: http://worn...

Re: Searambler or Blue Numa for next and only Doxa?
If you really like the Numa , you can order a set of hands for
the Searambler from Doxa service. Cost is about $125 or so.
That will give you the fabled ORANGE minute hand and a
rather unique NUMA!!

Re: Just back from my jeweler....
Doxa must use a shitload of loctite on the lug screws. I had a 5000T Pro (miss that watch) and I never did take the bracelet off (read that: I tried like hell, used 3 hands, various screwdrivers and lots of profanity - sob never budged.) You could try hot water or like Andy said, maybe a hairdryer....
