Well this sucks. I imagine the name change hasn't helped during this COVID world of dysfunction, but I didn't see this coming. Best of luck going forward.

Re: Ming 18.01 H41 Diver coming Aug 7th

I’m in the minority. I think it’s pretty cool and unique. Had Ming watches in the past and done really well. Same here, so much so, I actually picked one up. I'll post pics when I get it and you guys can berate me. If the quick sell out is an indication, at least you'll probably be able to f...

This brand seems to be cashing in on the FOMO culture. I don't see the draw. The name is awful and the designs are questionable - like something you'd get out of one of those catalogs on an airplane

Re: Sinn Increasing Prices This Month

While I like their stuff, it would have to be something super special for me to buy another Sinn. Didn't you buy a new Sinn just last month? I did, the U50, because it seemed (and actually was) “super special” - but it only lasted a couple days, thus my comment. Frankly, the Ares and Sangin are eas...

Re: More ebay Shenanigans

On another note - I just noticed Paypal now charges you their fee for tax collected on the part of eBay for sales in states requiring it. So, if you're unfortunate enough to sell an item to someone in a high tax state (California for example), your costs now include shipping, eBay fee (10%), and Pay...

Re: The Hodinkee Eight-Day Travel Clock LE

I think it is funny that they included design renderings in their rebuttal in an effort to make their "effort" seem more legitimate. Any mass produced product is going to need blueprints of the design prior to the manufacturing process. It seems as though they are now just trying to justify their pi...

I just can’t do 150$ for these. The magnum are super nice Same, silly for stamped rubber. BC makes these and they make their own for 25-30$ It appears that nearly all facets of the watch community have lost their minds in terms of pricing. These straps were a struggle at $50. I love my Isofranes, b...

Re: 2021 Ford Bronco Release - 7/13

I run Falken Wildpeak A/T3W's on my truck and the wife's 4R. They provide decent snow traction, good wet road performance and run quieter than my KO2's on my Sprinter van. I feel they may wear better too, are cheaper than KO2s and have faired well off-road. My 4R came with Terra Grappler G2 tires. I...

Re: 2021 Ford Bronco Release - 7/13

Now that ‘73 Jeep is an off road vehicle. No one (or maybe just the incredibly wealthy or incredibly stupid) is taking a $50K plus vehicle off road to get all trail rashed. I love the look of these new Broncos but I am worried about the longevity of the engines. Small displacement engines with turb...

Ok. I think I want a Badlands 4D. And an offroad camping trailer to replace the one we stupidly sold a couple of years ago.
I've got a Turtleback Adventure Trail trailer I'm about to sell.

No one is really talking about them, but the Bronco Sport is a great looking small SUV. This was not worth all the build up. A guessing game for what is essentially a different colorway of a watch that’s been around for years? They wanted to do something since there is still quite a bit of excitement about the U50. If they just dropped it on the site it may not have gotten much attent...

Not sure 35s on an IFS vehicle is a great idea. Need to carry several spare control arms/CV joints for harder off-road use The vast majority of these, like Wranglers, Raptors, 4Runners, RAM Powerwagons and AEV Prospectors will never even see gravel. For all but the few who actually use them, the st...

Re: 2021 Ford Bronco Release - 7/13

34" or 35" tires is what I'm reading. I've read 35's. The JLUR comes with 33" tires, can run 35's stock, but needs a mod to fit a 35" spare. I think 35's are sufficient for 90+% of owners. My guess is this is the most heavily upgraded model. At any hand, if this is as popular as it seems, brands li...
