That’s a pretty reasonable response. Not everything turns out as intended.
I agree. It isn’t quite as good as the old Glycine CEO’s response, but still pretty good.

This is also a clear example of the reason I could never run a micro.

Re: Shoulda kept it sealed...

Maybe, but you'd have to factor in the loses expected from sales mishaps. Selling one might be easy. Selling 20 would be a royal PITA.

Buying a modern watch as an investment always seemed foolish to me.

Re: Solid Offering From Crafter Blue

I'm wearing my Shogun on their fitted rubber strap right now. There is a slight smell if I stick it right under my nose, but it isn't at all noticeable under normal circumstances. The vanilla scent off an Iso is much stronger by comparison.

Father son (well, technically my father, my son, and my brother) at my range over the weekend. 1863 Springfield rifle and an Ares Diver 1.

Don’t worry, you can probably still get 88 which I think George Carlin said represented two fat lesbians. Again, strangely appropriate.

Hey, T, what were your thoughts on that Baltic? I've liked that O&W vintage style and owned a CREPAS Cayman for a bit and thinking of a replacement. I've heard the bezel feels a bit cheap, but I've also heard others who like it. Curious of your opinion, especially since you had lots to compare it to...

Wow. I'd love to see that movement uncased. I'd bet that movement is only maybe 25mm from edge to edge. I think that ring with the "Officially Certified Chronometer" text you can see under the sapphire back is the movement spacer.

Re: New Brellum Classic COSC

Handsome watch! While it isn't really my style, with 100m water resistance you certainly could almost consider it a "sports watch" if mounted on a different strap. Out of curiousity, what is he diameter of that watch? The date window location so close to the center pinion suggests it to be a large w...

Re: For Dive Watch Fans...

Just realized the dial has references to locations three different places.... Detroit, USA and Swiss, and yet the name appears French. The name is a reference to Fort Pontchartrain which was established in 1701 and later renamed "Fort Detroit". Interestingly, "Fort Detroit" is also the current name...

Re: Alpina's Startimer Pilot Heritage Automatic GMT

Even though I have the older model, I'm really thinking about this one. The disc is an interesting and unobtrusive way to display a second time zone. I'm used to the fourth hand design, but this is nearly as effective and less apt to cause confusion at a quick glance. The 100 meter rating doesn't bo...

That looks really good!

If this is the same movement as in the Ice Legacy GMT, I've found mine to be extremely accurate. The jump hour hand is perfect for travel.
