Re: 2021 Ford Bronco Release - 7/13

When my Tacoma finally dies I’ll look into one of these Broncos. That likely means maybe around 2035 or so....

Re: Lockdown Survival - what are you doing?

This kind of news is inevitable, but really sad. Yeah, Brooks Brothers got hit with kind of a triple whammy. Obviously, the economic shut down was a revenue killer, but layered on top of that is the increasingly casual workplace wardrobe I've seen. The days of the daily suit are numbered except for...

Re: 2021 Ford Bronco Release - 7/13

I'd definitely consider it if that roof comes off (which is what I think I'm seeing in the vehicle in the background). There is just something uniquely cool about a convertible 4X4, whether it be an old Defender, Bronco, 4Runner, or Scout. I hope the hardtop is kind of like the Jeep's, where panels ...

Damn Mido hit it out of the park with these offerings! Hell their last ti diver was a great freaking watch. They just don't seem to get much love.
If Mido made these out of Ti, that would be awesome.

I really like that GMT! I do worry a bit about the size, but I really like that layout with the GMT scale on the rehaut and divers timing bezel.

When I start traveling again, I’ll definitely look into this one.

I have to admit I am with Joe on this.

Looking at the two side-by-side, I actually prefer the OG black and gilt version.

G'bye, WUS - Hello The Dive Watch Connection!

Please, hold your applause...
Welcome to the nuthouse!

The new WUS format is indeed maddening.

I think a lot of us know you, but it’ll be a good move to do an intro thread for those who don’t.

Bought Oliver a plate carrier for his birthday; he know thinks he's Ross Edgley
If he really wants to be like Ross Edgley, it sounds like you should've bought him a 100 lb tree (from reading Ross' Wiki page).

Wicked looking car!

Holy door sills though! It looks like the seats are mounted so tight to the mid-line of the car you have to step across nearly a foot of door sill.

Re: Lockdown Survival - what are you doing?

Agree on all of this, but my body and brain never took to running - I really tried for about 2 years. I wish it did - you can run just about anywhere, and the running community as a whole is a good group. But definitely good to combine cardio with some weights (I've had to adapt to lighter weights ...

^^^ Yeah, I was just being a bit of a wise ass - sorry. I run - a lot - but I understand it isn't for everyone. The trick is to build slowly and listen to your body. I run every other day as I need the recovery time. On my "off" days I try to do something different like paddle boarding or surfing or...

Thanks for the info Jeff! Will try to check one locally, there is a hotel here that have a couple, will try to sneak in to check them out. The non-polywatchable acrylic crystal is my main concern with these.
I thought I read this new blue version was a sapphire crystal and a ceramic bezel. If the acrylic concern is holding you back, it might be worth double checking my memory.

I’m not quite sure what to make of the gravel bike craze. Maybe it’s because I’ve never liked drop bars. A lot of them look like 90’s mountain bikes. It's pretty much what they are. An old school mountain bike with drop bars. I find them to be very versatile and does the role of multiple bikes quit...
