Re: ARES Watch Company

UPDATE for all of you DWC DIVER-1 purchasers.... I just got back from doing a QC trip prior to assembly and everything is good to go and on track. Hands & dials all looked great and the cases finished bead blasting & were getting their individual serial numbers. Straps are good and were halfway thro...

Re: Thinking about a new device

Funny that I decided to start thinking about this topic this weekend. Looks like my computer screen is almost completely dead. If I so much as bump the case the screen goes black until I readjust the hinges and it doesn’t come back on immediately upon moving it either, so now I’m on my phone. Even ...

It’s really hard to start a brand when people keep gobbling up your ideas. Back to the drawing board.

I run Google mesh with five pods - four inside and one exterior to cover the dock - and they’ve worked great.

Re: Thinking about a new device

I love the Apple stuff and the way they seamlessly integrate with each other. I mostly run an iPad and my phone, but typing long form gets pretty old pretty fast, so I just picked up another Air 13”. I’m also adding a Mac [emoji985] desktop with a docking station so I can be integrative and work on ...

Re: 1680 Red Sub

It’s got to be hard to have factory parts availability, even for the factory. I’d bet most of the tooling they used to make those parts isn’t even around anymore, which is a drawback to making manufacturer-specific parts.

My wife is an English/Language Arts teacher (I have no idea what that means but I know it has a great salary and benefits) and I gave her that shirt for casual Friday’s.

Re: Australian DWC’rs

Nope, not at all. I’m saying dinosaurs didn’t read and they all died. So, while it may not be the only factor in their extinction, I can make sure it’s not one in mine. Imma gonna survive on this flat earth forevs. And by forevs I mean until I die from the myriad of things that can kill me each day.

Re: Australian DWC’rs

This is too weird. Matt wouldn’t purposely bone you over a stupid book. I ordered the book through Amazon.ca but it’s coming from India (I think). Matt mentioned that he had also asked you to order the book from Australia and that he would just cover both. I think this is simply a miscommunication....

Re: Australian DWC’rs

I’m confused. Did Matt pay for the book and asked for a refund or you ordered it and were waiting on money from him? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk No, not at all. And I’m still waiting for his info so I can square the costs, and this comes up. So, I’m as interested as you are in how this took ...
