It’s a bad orange, but a better red than the Rolex ceramic pepsi. :)

Meh. I wouldn't choose it over a standard Speedy, and I don't even care for that watch.

I liked this description from the drop,

We teamed up with Glycine to put our own twist on one of the company’s best sellers, the Combat Sub. Our exclusive, serialized version features a vintage look you can’t get anywhere else.

Looks sharp. Would make a great GMT...

I've been wearing an RG watch every day since my EL2 came back, and it's really not as loud as you might expect. Nobody notices, including me. Love the color combo of that TT Seamaster!

White dial probably works to mute the wave pattern more than other colors, which is a good thing in my book.

Not something you see every day, but definitely went about a minute too long. Got kinda gratuitous and cheesy with the IG handle shout out and the "you take the best pics on the internet". Still, not something you see every day! Fun post, BZ! For the newbs, BZ used to post very regularly here, but ...

That is very cool. Not to sound like a dick- but last year I did an IG cleanup and unfollowed a lot of people. I remember unfollowing him because he posts way too many pics in one day. I just looked at his followers. Shit. I mean how does that happen? You just post a ton and comment on others? Seem...

Re: JLC Announces 8 Year Warranty Program

When the watch comes back from service worse than when it went in (twice!) that eight year warranty will come in handy. Polaris :angryfire: I can't think of a single brand that hasn't done that to someone that I know. Rolex, Omega, Sinn, AP, Patek, IWC, Panerai, etc. They all screw people over duri...

I wonder how this affects watches under service warranty. :)
You may be SOL:

Timepieces under the original International limited warranty today will be eligible for the warranty extension
I saw that. I'll email and ask :)

Re: IWC Pallweber 150 Year Anniversary Review

If I could play at that level, I’d go AP before PP. Less expensive for baseline models (especially pre-owned) and the service is far better from everything I’ve read. Not a bad idea. I would too. It’s a shame that Patek gets all the hype, because much of it is not deserved, IME. Very nice watches, ...

I appreciate it, but if I had $23k to spend on a watch, it wouldn't be this one. Like half a Patek 5711! Yeah, the prices on those have gone absolutely nuts, too. They're like the Rolex GMT of the Patek world. People paying $50,000 for a stainless steel three hander. I've seen $65k askin...

Something to consider for less money is an Ooni f/k/a Uuni. They have different models, some use wood pellets like a Traeger smoker and some use gas or both. I have the one that uses wood pellets, can get it to 800 degrees and cooked a 12" pizza in 90 seconds. https://i.imgur.com/yt8hX5l.jpg https:...

Re: Straps For Deployant Question

IME, straps designed for deployants generally have a thinner “tail” side.

Measurements proportions may also differ between the two sides of the strap depending on the type of deployant (single, butterfly, or reverse like IWC).
