Re: In the running for wimpiest wrist...
A small wrist, washed out lighting in the one shot, and accessorizing with what, at least at first, looks like a black beaded bracelet... I'd never wear that bracelet, but maybe it's different styles and norms. I guess not all of us have arm hair like Lon Chaney in the middle of the full moon either...

Re: ScubaWatch.org
What exactly gets you banned from TZ? It seems they have more than a few bi-polar mods. In Adam's case, it's if you refuse to participate in the YMCA group sing-along. I don't think I post enough at TZ to come up on anyone's radar screen. It did occur to me that the ranks of the banned, the ones I ...

I'm a little late to the party, but what the heck. I knew Tom had a new baby in blue booties, so was inspired to put this on this morning: http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v235/Zaphod04/Tridente%20Blue%20Dial/MarcelloCTridente1000Mbluedial10.jpg http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v235/Zaphod04/Tride...

Nice score, Tom. That is a beautiful, deep shade of blue. Your photos do more justice to it than the ones by Jenny when they rolled those out.

Re: cool vintage Zodiac SeaWolf write-up!
Good read. Only thing I did not like from photo's of the reissue is no end links for the bracelet I hate gaps between the lugs and bracelet hope when it comes out it has end links would look a whole lot better. I agree. When Zodiac told me there would be a bracelet with "some stretch", I assumed it...

Re: The latest from Bremont!!!
The version of it on TZ had an email link at the bottom, to an anagram of "April Fool" (Rollo Piaf). That was a nice touch, and like anyone confronted with a "Wet Paint" sign, I just had to try it out. You actually do get an automated reply too. I thought that was an especially nice touch. I bow to ...

This is the problem with Rolex people. They are like ''cat people'' weird! Of course not like the Rolex and cat people here, you guys are obviously different :shifty: Our cat's made me weird, no argument there. He's a Manx, so more like a bobcat who thinks he's a dog, but it still introduces...

Re: Hamilton Khaki Pilot Pioneer Aluminum
I like the black one, but not at that price. Anodized aluminum is harder than plain aluminum, but it will stiil scratch, and there's no buffing to fix it, like you could with steel.

Re: MKII Fulcrum for $1732.50!!!!
I don't know where Bill gets the components, though even if something is listed as "Swiss Made", it doesn't mean the rough pieces didn't come from Asia or whreever. I will say that the Fulcrum looks a LOT like my LRRP: http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v235/Zaphod04/MK%20II%20LRRP/MarkIILRRPMil-Sub0...

Tom, sounds like you guys hit "resonant frequency". Besides the guys here I already know as WIS-s, I've sat in a meeting where a VP of quality was wearing a 16610, talked to a couple of sales guys about their Breitllings and another Submariner, and the doc who did my wife's gall bladder was wearing ...

I'm fairly new to DWC, and still exploring the sub forums. I have 2 Sinns, but they're really just variants of the same model. Just back from RSC with new casing kit. what is a casing kit? Funny you should ask Paul. That's how it was described to me, and I asked the same Q when I picked it up yesterday but did not get a detailed answer. I was told it's all the O-rings, looks like crown & tube replaced, as I was asked if I ...

Thanks! I'm starting to like the place. BTW, do you have any Macellos left, or did flip the last one? I still have my blue Tridente. I confess I've not been to Matt's forum for quite awhile though, the traffic is SLOW-OW-OW.toxicavenger wrote:good to see you around john
